MACS... The wife doesn't have to be dead first for it to happen that way.

May even help expedite it if she's alive and walks in....

You get up every morning from your alarm clock's warning
Take the 8:15 into the city
There's a whistle up above and people pushin', people shovin'
And the girls who try to look pretty
And if your train's on time, you can get to work by nine
And start your slaving job to get your pay
If you ever get annoyed, look at me I'm self-employed
I love to work at nothing all day Whistle

Morning gents.

I dunno, bro... just had my annual physical on the 11th. 118/72 blood pressure, 60 bpm heart rate, A1C was 5.2, cholesterol was 185, and everything else was good, too.

Bad point - LDL was 121 and should be under 100. HDL was 50 so that could be a little higher.

I shall continue NOT taking any medications.

Stay on that path as long as you can. Healthcare institutions want nothing more than to get their claws into each individual Profit Centers (a person).

Once they get you on the meds, then force you into med check appointments (where a blood draw and a print out of where those numbers fit, into ever tightening wellness zones), so they can get you talked into another med, and series of additional med check appointments.

Amen to that!

Speaking of which....

My appointment to see the vascular surgeon is this morning
The kids inheritance is packed in the wallet,
The insurance card is loaded and ready,
I got to grab a quick shower to wash the old sack,
then to get dressed and hit the worn road to poverty.

Its sad when your life sounds like a chitty country song Brick wall

Morning, homies!

I have a 3.5 hour training today on customer experience. How on earth do you talk about customer experience for that long? This training is for the birds. Ugh.

Pizza Hut sucks... Cold pizza and a wait staff that refused to replace it with hot pizza... Waited almost a half hour before we gave up... Then they just happen to find five more pizzas to bring out... When confronted their attitudes just got worse
... Don't you just love it when the minimum wage worker gets all holier than thou.... Not talking

You ayite, brother. You can still get around, you just need to seriously watch the diet on account of the diabeetus (pronounced like Wilford Brimley).

Yo, 8trizzle... that's the plan, man. I think the keto diet I was on for a couple months is what got the A1C to drop. I had been hovering at the upper limit of normal for a couple years (5.6) my last 2 checks have been lower (5.4 and 5.2). Trying to keep my weight in a range where my blood tests are good. For me that's 175-185. When I get heavier, my cholesterol and sugar numbers go up. Currently 187... so I need to drop a few more, but the keto diet, at least for me, is not sustainable. Even so, going on it for 6-8 weeks at a time is helpful in keeping those numbers down and staying in my target weight range.

Ahh it is what it is brother,

The only suggestions was one: make sure to stay on the bloodthiner so a clot does not form on the heart valve and cause another stroke. Which is what happened in the first place. Second: he suggested Neuropsych since they deal with how injuries of the brain affect cognitive functions. He said that they should have the proper contacts on dealing/living with the issues caused by the stroke. Which I already have an appointment with them sometime the end of this month I think. Other than that it boils down to is do the best you can with what you got. Which is what I have been doing to the best of my ability. Neuropsych might be able to show me some better ways to make things a little more easy is the hope now. Who knows maybe they know some secret tricks of the trade that I never knew or heard of.
