Some broad just came outta' da woodwork and claims she was accosted by a drunkin' Kavanagh and his buddy IN HIGH SCHOOL OR COLLEGE?...forced into an upstairs room AT A PARTY ( UNDERAGE DRINKING)/ locked the door , thrown on a bed and dry humped but they were too drunk and she got away...

I just love this #METOO bullcraaaap of pulling stuff outta' the thin air from 30 years ago and the trial by the press that ensues over TV /radio/internet / with no jury or statute of limitations protections for the accused....

It is just plain hearsay and illegal with no grounds to stand on...unless a complaint was filed , evidence taken, statements taken and saved in a file...

Which this broad has none of( I am assuming , don't know for sure?)..

If I were kavanagh ...I'd sue the BEOTCH for slander and defamation of character till she was penniless ( since he is rich and can be his own lawyer).

I'm not gonna say what he did when he was 15 is completely irrelevant now, but pretty irrelevant, no? If he'd committed any other offense when he was 15 and then turned it all around and gone on to accomplish all that he has, wouldn't he be praised for it? Hope and change, no?

kinda pointless, if we can take Anita Hill vs Clarence Thomas as a precedent setter.

The only change may be that our society has become less tolerant of boorish male sexual behavior directed at un-consenting females...Hill's testimony seemed credible, but it was not enough to sideswipe Thomas' confirmation. Who knows if that result would be different today...

But I would like to ask anyone what they would do if their wife pointed out some dude at a random gathering and told you that he did that to her in highschool....

I mean... I doubt anyone wouldn't have their opinion of a person adjusted if they had that information...

However, to give that pitiful excuse more discussion than it warrants... If they accuse her of being drunk then they also admit to some of the facts she presents (ie, that they were both at the same party). If they say nothing then she still has to even prove they knew each other.

Who knows if it's a political ploy. The timing says yes. Her story, no. Even alumni at her private HS say this sorta thing happened a lot. I mean, this woman isn't some typical let-me-get-my-15 minutes-of-fame-bimbo. She's a widely published Dr. of psychology prof with degrees from places like Stanford who has old friends who say she's been grappling with this for years. Her overall story and the fallout is very credible.

I think this has already run its course, except for the pompous Senate grandstanding and politicking, of course.

I believe the woman was assaulted. I also believes that she thinks it was probably Kavanaugh.
But, she didn't mention him by name to the shrink, nor to her husband in later conversations (that we're aware of.)
Kavanaugh's strong denial that he was even there pretty much shreds everything and attributes this to fuzzy memory and POSSIBLE mistaken identity.
Unless and until there's third party corroboration that he was even AT the exact party (time and place) this is done, IMO.

I decided to see if this was credible or not... looked up a picture of Ford on Google Images... saw an old picture of her...

I must say, if I was at a party full of drunk chicks, she would probably be pretty far down the list of chicks I would want to dry hump.

Doesn't pass the smell test, chick was not even close to being hot.

I think it would be more likely that he passed out and she dry humped him.

She said she had 1 beer... Which every cop will tell you is always true...

She claims kav and his buddy had started drinking earlier in the day...

She also described them as "stumbling drunk"...

She says she got away because the kid keeping a lookout decides to jump on top of her and kav... Twice...

Nothing about the way she described the situation made me think it was attempted rape... It sounded like drunken horse play... I believe she may have been extra scared believing the situation could have turned into something rapey, But that's not on kav and his buddy...

How many decades ago? So there is NO WAY to prove the veracity of the claim, or his innocence?

You have every reason to doubt a guy who could lose a supreme court position over this as well.... Why would you choose to believe one over the other?

As for the "decades" thing... She apparently has talked about it to others... I would guess that finding out the person who tried assaulting you in high school is about to become supreme court justice is a pretty compelling reason to speak up. That would likely piss most people off.

I haven't heard a good reason not to believe her, nor have I heard a good reason not to believe him.... Yet.
