This weather feels like the calm before the storm. High of 81 today and by the weekend we will have a high of 57...

Hope everyone is safe during the storm.

Just checked on my stocks. Had been up 20 something percent for the year last time I looked. Couple new games came out recently or coming out soon. Figured id pull some profits so i could pick em up.

Down to only 1% profit for the year today. Guess I'm not picking em up new. Already blew my fun money on cigars this month.

Been one of those days. Five different crews working today. One of the jobs if installing about 1000 sqft of wood laminate flooring in new construction home. For the 5th time in a row the flooring store estimator shorted me at least 100 sqft of flooring.

Trim carpenters are on site griping because we are holding them up even though they showed up a day early and there trailer was blocking the only dry piece ground near the house. So to unload the flooring I had to go get I had to put the truck in 4wdl and back up to the carport through mud a foot deep. Naturally I spun my tires on the way out. Unfortunately, they had about 400 feet to moulding laying under the carport. It was nice and white when I backed in. Now, not so much so. Well at least now they have a legit reason to be pissed off.

It's not the job that is hateful. Its the people.

I need the money.

20 habaneros finely chopped
1 large red onion finely chopped
1 bunch cilantro finely chopped
2 roma tomatoes finely chopped
1 bell pepper finely chopped
1/4 cup lime juice

Was delicious, but got sweat dripping off my face. Gonna burn tomorrow.

Yeah, mine is divided up 75% in a fixed 3.5% account and 25% in a moderately aggressive fund. I made $2,400 last quarter... this quarter (all 10 days of it) I'm down $600 and that's not accounting for the 832 point drop, yet. d'oh!

You will beat me to the finish line then. 10/10 next year is when I will make it there. Well, if all goes to plan that is.

Went down to Indy last night to drink beers and play videogames with brother in law.

Woke up and last tab open on my phone searching for when Popeyes chicken opens.

Still sounds like a good idea.

Don'tcha just love management ?

My daughter is a coordinator in the Admissions Dept of a local university.
She has been attending various conferences the past few weeks, (that the university had scheduled for her).
NOW, she's getting terse e-mails from her managers for NOT BEING AT HER DESK ! d'oh!

A kid at heart, looking forward to going to the Pumpkin Patch this weekend. Having apple cider, picking pumpkins and seeing the animals at the farm. Fall weather finally arrived this morning, a cool 60ish. Hope everyone has a good weekend!
