Here's an article that talks about the implications to women, of what Trump said. Since you prolly won't read it, I've quoted a salient paragraph, which is representative of how the average American mom received Trump's messages.

https://www.mother.ly/news/president-trump-mocked-dr-ford-mothers-respond?rebelltitem=2#rebelltitem2

"For self-described #boymom Jennifer, Trump's showing empathy for the accused while mocking the accuser did not sit well. "All he is worried about is what the future of our sons look[s] like," she wrote, adding that the President doesn't seem concerned about how American women who have been through sexual assault feel seeing the nation's leader insulting a woman who came forward."

So when Obama famously said "if I had a son", did these same moms cry that he was only concerned with black kids?

You're putting your own spin on what was said.
Trump is a dolt and shouldn't have ridiculed Ford. But nobody, not even Trump, is saying that men have more to fear than women in regards to sexual assault and/or accusations.

Did I miss something? I though Trump mocked Ford specifically. I don't see the linkage to rape and assault survivors.

You're putting your own spin on what Obama said. Here's my interpretation: the media was portraying Trayvon Martin as a young gangsta thug and George Zimmerman as the defender of his neighborhood who stood his ground. Obama recognized that there was some nuance to these stark and flawed definitions, so he said "if I had a son, he'd look like..." and so he was speaking on behalf of fathers/parents who have just lost a child to a senseless act of violence....I'm sure there were more than a few black moms who understood where that came from.

As for Trump, in the same interview where he was asked about Ford and Kavanaugh and whether he believed the allegations, Trump whined about the state of affairs that are very scary for men and when asked about women, said "women are doing great".

You seem to speak Trump, so explain what he meant to all of us who don't understand him...

No.
Seems your interpretations are all you need.

I like your interpretation of Obama's words.
I've never heard anyone else claim that he'd have said the same words had Trayvon been white.
Heck, I don't think Barrack himself would interpret it that way.
But we're all free to believe what we want.

You honestly believe that when Obama said that his son would LOOK like Trayvon, that he would have said the same thing about a white kid killed in the same fashion?

Key word is LOOK.

He didn't say something ambiguous like "Trayvon could have been any of our sons".
He said his son would LOOK like him.

Words have meaning.

He can't say that if the kid was white.
Couldn't.
And wouldn't.

Sorry if my interpretation is based on fact.

You are blinded by the fact that I'm a conservative. You attribute far right absurdities to what I'm saying. Perhaps because you can't bear to think that you're so incredibly wrong on this one.

Obama crying about Sandy Hook? I cried about Sandy Hook. Several times. Hell, it still chokes me up if I truly think about it. I don't give a rats azz about other peoples opinion on these things.
Barrack Obama said his son would look like Trayvon.
I find it very telling that you refuse to accept how race plays into that statement.
