I hate yellow mustard. You use brown or some hotter mustard?

Rye needs to be jewish rye, and slightly toasted... and I agree, no mustard. Prefer mayo.

I like yellow mustard, but also use Gulden's or a spicy whole grain mustard....I think any mustard you like would work...

Pastrami is delicious!

Try getting some thick sliced Pastrami, grill it and add it a hamburger like you might use bacon.

Everytime I go to the Jewish Deli, I am faced with this dilemma . . .

Corned Beef or Pastrami, and once I get that decided, I move on to, HOT or COLD.
Four choices, and ALL of them are excellent.

On my next trip to http://hymies.com/deli-menu/ , I will try raw onions, (on the side, of course), to see if that works.
