Saw this on the news tonight. It was staggering. We don't owe everyone in the world access to our country. I don't know what the answer to this is, but it certainly isn't the open border these illegal aliens want. I do know this, we have legal immigration and I am all for people immigrating who bring skills to our country. I know we have discussed this, but the video of a swarm of people walking north with a line longer than the eye could see was staggering. They need to be stopped from crossing our border, period.

I kinda get where they are coming from on some plains of their existence but still...it takes massive balls to walk across central America with almost nothing to the American border...

I have no answer to the problem except that the USA cannot support the entire world like OBAMA TRIED TO DO and now TRUMP has to be the bad man...literally.

I think we are all approaching this situation completely wrong... We got so many Mexicans coming up from hondurass and gwatamalala, we gotta start exporting them for profit...

I don't think China even has Mexicans... Think of how much faster and cheaper they coulda built that wall if they'da had Mexicans... And have you ever seen those little tiny Mexicans? I bet Japan would love those...

I'm not suggesting anyone is gonna pay top dollar right out of the gate... But we got so many of them, maybe we just use them in place of packing peanuts and such on freight containers first... Like maybe Sweden orders some water coolers and when they open the box its like hey, thanks for your order, please enjoy these complimentary Mexicans... Then once they see how great they are, they'll inquire as to price and we can start bulk shipping...

We just gotta make sure the first ones we send can cook real good... Cuz seriously, who's gonna taste a California burrito and not want more Mexicans around...

Rice is gross... Taters is good...

Lots of ways to do a California burrito, but it has to contain carne asada, Pico de Gallo, and either fries or potatoes... I usually add cheese... Avocado is a common addition...

Not so sure about the walking part. The average adult walking speed through a crosswalk is 3.1 mph. Figure about 2/3 that of a child with shorter legs. Of course walking through a crosswalk would be considered burst speed since one has a limited time. Then factor in being slowed by people ahead of you. Obviously breaks are required since such a pace is probably impossible over 1700-3000 miles. So someonnwalking here from say Honduras would need a minimum of 3 months to cover that distance. Considering the need to sleep, rest, eat, wash clothes and chit along the way.

Didn’t this particular caravan start about a month ago and plans to be at our border before the midterms?

It's that fish only diet that worries me... It seems like they can't digest animal unless its oiled up like Victor on amateur pole wrestling night down at the sock puppet festival...

Honestly I don't know. The first step should be immigration reform. Since our economy is entering a generation of a declining work force we need skilled immigrants. Also there should be a streamlined process to expidite immigration. I do think we need more immigrants than the system presently allows for. But I do not think open borders is acceptable. You are right, a wall is an absurdity. What is best for our country? That bunch of founding fathers did a pretty good job with our constitution. But times change. They didn't really address immigration. That plaque on the statue of liberty was a great idea. But times change. This is beyond any immigration that our government and citizens ever imagined.

It is a calculated invasion of our Country. Nothing less than that. And it should be treated like an invasion. A few modern machine guns will end the problem quickly. If our guberment lets even 1% of them into our Country, then our guberment has failed our Country and its tax-paying citizens.

To put this into a different perspective, the size of the invasion (crowd) is larger than the population of the Town I live in.

Don't want them here. Don't want to pay for them to be here. And don't give a flying f*ck what happened to them in what ever sh*t-hole Country they are "fleeing". Let Mexico take them in. They already let them cross their border illegally.

Now imagine what would happen if 7,000+ citizens from the US coordinated an illegal entry into any other Country on the planet. But hell, Russia took over Crimea with little repercussions.
