You joined a couple years too late. There was much better selection and you could still get deals on Fuentes, Padrons and Tats in the “old” days. MAP killed it. ThumbDown

What is MAP ??? ^^^^

YEA, THE OLD DAYS ARE G.O.N.E.....

and for the last 1.5 years almost all the cigars are not aged correctly...no more "OTT" from these 2017-18 offerings on here...everything is HARSH AND HOT...

GOTTA AGE THESE NEW PURCHASES...

The cigar makers are on overdrive and not aging the tobacco long enough or the rolled cigars EITHER...which blows...
CBID PRICES ARE STILL GOOD IF YOU BID LOW AND don't care about winning you can still get deals on holidays.

I've been here since 1998.

What kills a business is not the market, but arrogance and stupidity. CBid/CI has those in spades.

Years ago the targeting was the older, sophisticated gentlemen; in the past few years their approach/delivery seems to target the FratBoy/Punk crowd? ( surely a surplus of them here).

Last order processes today, the, it's on to better sources.

Well yeah, there's been better sources for quite a while now.
This place started slipping with the Padron fiasco, followed by the website fiasco, then their great shipping policies, and so on.
Remember when this was the "devil site".............deals on great cigars, so good you were forced into spending money.
Them days is gone...........prolly forever.

This place never targeted older, sophisticated people and they don't target Fratboy/punk crowd. The target an income, hence the fact that it is a discount sales site basically. Think of it as Walmart, but only now they can only discount certain items and the inventory is the same across all internet sales sites of similar products. Losing most of your competitive edge will do some damage to the perception from individuals like yourself, but their business model was pretty much taken from them by manufacturers not because they wanted to change.

You are, imo, correct.
Still, had they not crapped the bed, so many times, they wouldn't get such bad feedback from many of their long term clients.
That said, I really don't think the Euro boys give a crap.
I just HOPE the other place and the MB3 place manage to resist buyout offers.
If they get gobbled up, then we are truly hosed.
