The man who turned me away from voting the Replublican straight ticket. Only voted for one Republican presidential candidate once since I read his lips on new taxes, voted for him, and got the knife in the back.

RIP though. He did much for America in the military and the CIA.

Closely watching the events over the past few days has only confirmed the greatness of 41.

I love how great he is now......and how bad Putin is now......and how people think it’s wrong the former KGB guy is president but the former CIA head was just peachy keen.

well, you certainly have a point that resonates with me. But I think what we are hearing now is the appeal of his political civility, not so much his presidency. And leading the CIA did not translate into totalitarian authority here.

Putin rules in a much different sphere than Bush ever could....and is the envy of Trump.

True, Putin isn’t a slave to the Saudi aristocracy.

Oh and that civility..........I’m glad it makes people feel good, that’s just peachy keen Opie. I’m so glad we don’t have anything like that in Amerika now !! LMAO

The best qualified, decent and responsible POTUS in decades ...

As one eulogizer after another spoke of GHWBs qualities, I couldn't help hoping the Clintons, Obama and the scowling Trump were actually paying attention and realizing how much lesser each of them is and has performed in office ...
