Opened a bottle of Rhetoric 23 Saturday and discovered I didn't like it. Oops.

Thinking maybe Elijah Craig barrel proof or Blantons Gold this evening.

If those fail, I'm just going to go get a bottle of edub or old granddad. d'oh!

My aunt brought some back last time she visited her daughter, good stuff!!

Haven't made my mind up but am either going to open a Kentucky Owl Rye batch 1 or Midwinters Night Dram. For cap off I have a Fifty-Fifty Eclipse Vanilla Rye.

For the big meal we will be enjoying a very nice bottle of wine that was gifted from brother Speyside. Then after the festivities and everyone has departed to bed. I will be going out to the garage and enjoying some Highland style Fifty stone whisky and a cigar that was gifted to me from my Secret Santa while reflecting on how blessed I have been in my life. I can say for sure there will be a Glencarin glass poured in honor of all the B&Sotl here on the forums. Beer

New Belgium 1554 Dark Larger, it's pretty tasty. I get a six pack of beer every Christmas/New year, I still have a couple of last years selection so I'm not much of a beer aficionado, but I prefer dark beers.

Coffee too, of course. I found a few bottles of Jarritos Tamarind soda and a new one Coke product, Coke Life, made with cane sugar and stevia.

The wife and I have been doing Keto and intermittent fasting for the past couple months, so there has been no al-che-how. I may treat myself tomorrow to a couple fingers of Bulliet Rye, but that will be it. Enjoy those great bottles, folks.

I have no idea what that all means.

Woodford Reserve 🥃 with one rock helped ease me into Christmas Eve. Wife had a Trump.... (White Russian). 😉

It's about 4pm on the 26th out here in tomorrow land.

Yesterday morning, Christmas Day, I got off work at 7am and stopped in at the Vets Hall and had a coupla beers and cigars before heading back to the BQ room and going to bed. Got up and went back to work at 7pm.

I pretty much only drink beer and water these days. I don't do coffee or soda. I have some Macallan 18, but haven't opened it up yet.

Beer

When I head back to NC later this week, if I promise to visit the ABC store and pickup a bottle of George Dickle Rye, can I keep my southern card?
