That hot sauce description sounds like Dave's Insanity Sauce.....hot as hell, and no flavor...I like to spice up my foods to enhance the flavor....not fry my tastebuds

Only ever made chili with ground beef....but I like the sound of sirloin ...or better. How do you prepare the sirloin before putting in the pot?

I love spice, but I've never liked heat for the sake of heat. Has to have a flavor to it.

Agree when it comes to me... When it comes to watching other people eat things, heat for the sake of heat doesn't bother me...

Better meat makes better taste. Stew meat is something I have never bought, but I made some fantastic round steak stew. Never thought about steak for Chili tho - might be worth a try. I just chopped up the round steak and marinated it before putting it in the stew.

Why? Do you eat unleavened bread every Friday? AFAIK January 25th is not a Jewish holiday.

It's the name of his band... they do bar mitzvahs and such.

I thought his band was named Franklin and the Talking Tripod... And i know they've got a couple musical numbers worked in, but I think it's technically a ventriloquist act, not a band...

Robert may have phrased it unintentionally, or may have been messing with me, but he used nearly exact verbiage from a repeating part the Passover Seder...known as The Four Questions.

Each time the question is actually the same but asked by a different one of "four sons" so there are four different answers to:

Why is this night different from all other nights?
or as roughly said in Hebrew:
mah nishtana ha lyla hazeh micol ha laylot

so I gave one answer, the one about eating matzah and you...you smaht guy...you picked it up.
Proud to know ya.

Another food cart day.

Chinese egg noodles with a peanut sauce and grilled pork belly on top.
Super tasty.

I noticed someone got a Korean burrito from one of the trucks today that was prolly 1.5 ft long. That may be Monday

I found it very similar to Dave's Insanity. Just hotter

I found flavor in a few Dave's varieties. Just not a flavor I like. Though I do often like heat just for the sake of insanity. Rumor is capsaicin fights cancer and increases metabolism. Basically it's a wellness program as long as your heart doesn't give out

Love the show, been watching for a few years. Looking forwrd to that episode. I've picked up a lot of sauces they've had on the show, it's where I learned of Da Bomb.

Love that series and am actively seeking a bottle of the last dab redux sauce to see how rough it really is

I keep thinking about getting it but I have so many sauces I have a hard time pulling the trigger on a $20+ shipping bottle of hot sauce, but have at it.

I don't know if this blend is still available anywhere, but it's by far my favorite extreme sauce

Spicy food is good. Spicing it up to the point it burns so bad it's painful on the way in and on the way out is just moronic to me.

Why eat it if it actually causes you physical discomfort?

There's something about it. Doesn't make any rational sense. Can't really explain it if it's not your thing.

Wife doesn't like extreme spicy but does like some of the extreme sauces when used very sparingly and that's typically how I use em. Many of them have very unique flavors, and those are the ones I use the most. The ones that are just stupid hot for the sake of being hot aren't much more than a novelty. Full of crap

This is pretty much it.

Another hot sauce nut I know said it's like BDSM fans. If it's your thing, it's your thing. Not gonna convert anyone that isn't into it.

Dmd, I've got the same issue with overstock. Every bday/holiday someone gets me more and is hard to justify buying any. And no, they won't do the same with cigars. I've tried already

I love the mad dog 357 stuff. Currently wrapping up their Reaper Siracha. Excellent stuff IMO

As far as why, partly there's some great flavor out there once you train your body to deal with the burn. Part of it's the challenge. Or maybe I'm just looking for a good trip like the insanity pepper from the Simpsons
