With all the things hitting Opie, I'd be in the pot line too.

I'm over tired and my feet are cold. #pastyfrostytoes

They pay me an obscene amount of money, too. Normally sergeants are not allowed to work OT, but we are so short-handed they approved it.

That's a clown question, bro.

A pint is 16 ounces. It's like having 1.3 beers. A 40 is like having 3.3 beers.

Bro... when I was on the USS Mckee, half my boiler technician brothers were black. I've had OE, Colt45, Mickey's big mouths, AND Gin and Juice.

I stand by my statement. Tastes like crap.

Weather forecast all over the place for this weekend. Some say brutally cold, windy, and a little snow. Others say 20 degrees and feets of snow.

Think I'll run out and get gas for the generators, kerosene for the garage heater, and beers for our bellies.

RV show up in Schaumburg this weekend. Won't be heartbroken if we don't make it since it's a smaller show but still don't want to be stuck home shovelling snow all weekend.

Quick update - Dino had surgery on his bladder yesterday... Not sure what all they did but it went well...

Daughter is on the mend... Lots of inhalers, but no hospital trip...

Pops in law is still at the VA... not sure what happened, they're thinking maybe blood clot.... But they looked at his heart and said whoever did his bypass however many years ago did a phenomenal job... No blockages anywhere...

Thanks all for the thoughts and prayers... I've got a bad habit of worrying about stuff and knowing people care helps a lot...

And also, the dispensary line turned out to be worth it...

7 grams Triangle Kush (21%thc)

7 grams Strawberry Banana (25%thc)

3.5 grams SFV OG Kush (17.5% thc but by far the best of the 3)

Grand total after sales tax and mj tax: $144

I have had SFV and it is very good. Your prices are about 30% less than street prices here.

Copy and paste

As the name indicates, this OG Kush relative originates from California’s San Fernando Valley. Although their names are barely distinguishable, SFV OG Kush is actually the Afghani-crossed child to SFV OG. The flowers will stay fairly small and may not look super impressive, but what it lacks in looks it makes up for in smell.

Damn flight to the middle of nowhere was cancelled because there's apparently a storm coming through the middle of nowhere.

Rebooked to a redeye to a city adjacent to the middle of nowhere. Now my rental car $ has shot up to 500$ for a couple days...

I hate the middle of nowhere.

Bait me into a stereotype? I related an experience. I was there, in my friend's apartment, drinking and playing video games. We were drinking 40's, and passing a bottle of gin and juice. We're still friends... next time we meet up I'll let you know and you can ask him in person.

The 4 of us were standing in the fireroom on the upper level one day. Shon, me, Eric and Troy. Troy says, "hey man, you ever seen that Sesame Street skit where they say one of these things is not like the other?" Eric looks at each of us and says, "Yeah... and one of these mother f***ers ain't a brother."

I still laugh my ass off when I remember it. Good times... good times... Beer

And rebooked flight has now been cancelled.
This is a fking fiasco. I told the goddamn wife that there was no reason to fly to this sh#thole town before buying a place. They're cheap enough we can just buy online and see it when we move there.... But fk no.... she wants to go fly into the middle of nowhere for a short weekend so she can look at the houses.

Now we're looking at a day delay on a weekend flight. This is a waste of fking time.

Airline is doing you a favor by keeping you out of the weather mess. Bad juju. Maybe you should put the trip off...

****.. some of the houses are 150k. I would buy that sight unseen. What's the risk? When we moved to SF we rented a place sight unseen. Given the cost of rent and a year lease, the liability is roughly the same.

The woman became the wife about 9mo ago. I think I mentioned it. I know I said I had to go to a wedding....

Woman refuses to buy sight unseen. Also doesn't want to move twice. That means we need to see houses this weekend so we can have a place purchased by the end of Feb.

No choice. This sh#t has to happen.

Hell... let's look at a house of 200k.
Just flying in to look at it is going to cost over 1% of the purchase price. Flight runs $1400 for 2 people.... Hotel for 2 nights $250.... Dog hotel for 2 dogs while we're gone is $300/night, so 600-900$ there Rental car is going to be $300....

This makes a very good argument to buy sight unseen.
