Trump is dropping sanctions on Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska, a major Putin ally. He was closely linked to Paul Manafort, who is said to be $10 million in debt to Deripaska.

The GOP Senate approved.

Why?

yea...but the GOP Senate doesn't have to fear that...

why did so many GOP senators support Trump's plan to drop these sanctions when they voted near unanimously to impose sanctions in the first place, including sanctioning Deripaska's company?

Trump doing this as spite is irrational...
who knows where he learned this...
you righties have lost your minds...



My perception is that he is doing Manafort (and Deripaska) a favor, to keep Manafort in line and prevent him from testifying against Trump.....Deripaska gets 100's of millions from this decision...Manafort owed him about 10 million...

as well as greasing the palms of an influential Russian who can help with an eventual Trump Tower Moscow project...
