The list of likely candidates for president continues to grow....it is going to be entertaining for a while...until we are forced to make an actual choice


For example, I did find it entertaining the way many dems and left-leaning media headlines are apoplectic about Howard Schultz suggesting he might run as an independent.....I can continue to hope that 'independent' or 'third party' has enough oomph to scare dems (and/or R's.)

Dems are or will be scared of him running as an independent.

strong independents have historically drained away votes from the dem candidate, and have cost dems elections in the past...

Meh.
Trump is going to win in 2020. I think that's pretty clear by the Senate election in 2018.

An independent would just make him win by a little more. Not much tho.
