Found a set of 2015 Civic Si wheels about an hour away for $400 on the Craigslist.

Might be hot, considering it's a Honda wheel in Chicago.

Emailed the dude.

It's a digital condom cbid put on after TGerbs posted 150,000 messages in eight hours.

That is why we can't have nice things.

Shot another raccoon this morning.

Trailcam showed a raccoon getting into the coop through the small gap between the roof and the wall.

Hope it was the same one.

Smoked 2 cigars (monte 2 and a QdO corona) while catching 2 trout. My buddy only got one, so he gave it to me. Cleaned and refrigerated for momma.

Brisket looking good... foiled for the finish. Gotta do some burnt ends.

Currently sitting in the recliner with a small glass of Aberlour 18.

Spent some time in the garage removing all FIVE!!! of the dealership logos they stuck on the new car. Windshield, rear window, two on the rear bumper and one on the front.

Gotta run to the Walmart to get a cheapo license plate frame for the rear that doesn't have the dealership name on it.

Then off to the car wash to get a RFID sticker for the new car. They said it'd be ready by 5p.

Boy's got a fever and feeling pukey but hasn't barfed yet.

Should go clean out the chicken coop, since we don't have chickens anymore. But there was a light thaw today and the yard is pretty soupy. Not sure the lawn tractor will be able to tow the trailer to the compost pile and back without getting stuck. Probably better to do that tomorrow morning when everything's frozen again.

Didn't jack the car up to paint the wheels. Has some brake drag and noise, so I shined a flashlight through the holes and shurnuff, need to do 4 corners. Test drive wasn't worth a damn, I thought it seemed off but was assured they'd be inspected and repaired if needed before delivery. I measured them and they were technically within spec. Which is what they told me when I called to complain, was inspected and within spec. Jackholes. Ordered 4 corners of new brakes.

You inspired me to do the same... Enjoying the slow cool burn of a Jericho Hill Lancero in the backyard, watching as the two or three hundred strong flock of cedar wax wings decides if the crepe myrtles or the lemon tree or the neighbors oak is the most suitable of places to land... I've seen this movie before, they never do decide, and eventually resolve to fly off as one or two packs in search of who knows what...

The "goldfish" in the pond - once bound to a 15 gallon living room tank - have long outgrown their name... All 3 are close to 8" long, the biggest probably closer to 9, and they're clearly just colorful carp... They're utilizing the cloud cover, along with the rosy red minnows, to pick at algae near the shoreline...

There's a hole fit for a midget grave out here that's destined to become our first outdoor hydroponic pond... Need a Pond liner and a few dozen rosy red minnows in place before I grow anything... Hoping to rig up a system of small clay pots to serve as suitable spawning grounds for them so they can not only fertilize the plants but be occasionally used to take trout or crappie...

I'm anxious to get all the plants out of the house and into the soil... It's tempting to pull the trigger when we've seen 3 consecutive days over 60 degrees... But I've made that mistake before and i don't feel like blanketing plants from frost this year if we end up with a late freeze...

Well I can see I'm more talkative than the hundreds of birds around me so I'll shut up now... Enjoy the afternoon and weekend folks...,

Got some kind of damn stomach bug thanks to my goofball kids. I have had 2 pieces of toast in the past 3 days and wouldn't you know the wife decides to make some homemade chicken pot pie for dinner tonight which is to die for. I wonder if she will feel bad if I just stare at her while chewing on my plain toast while she eats.
