Also, you gotta think of a four month, what are they doing, still squirting in the diapers, need to be fed, squirting in the diapers, need to be fed, squirting in the diapers, need to be fed, squirting in the diapers, need to be fed, squirting in the diapers, need to be fed. They are fun to mess with though.

Speaking of overbids......I’m down to my last 15 or so Bueso Toros (early 2014 may actually be from 2013.....no date on box.)
I know they’re not that great anymore, but I went ahead and put a “low” bid on a fiver yesterday.
Obviously I overpaid at $8.......... but I’ll chuck em in da cooler and tell you how chitty they are in a couple years.........or maybe I’ll get lucky?

Spotted a five year old RB Genesis torp the other day and put it in my smoke soon humidor (I think). I paid $ 2 for it back in early '15, but wouldn't now. $ 8 for a 5er might be tempting on today's auctions.

Yeah.......that poor sap from Casper thought he was buying a box.........which would hav still been an overbid.
He may have to contact customer service, cause that’s an ugly one.

.....I'm burning the Oliva 2nds Liga V Churchill (7" x 52) right now. Been aging naked about 8 months. A good sweet tangy smoke and a lot smoother than it was out of the cello. $5 per cigar is about the price for the main V line here at CBid. I scored my 15 pack of V 2nds for $35 last summer, still a bit high but in my opinion worth it. Last night I saw several other insane bids on smokes I've gotten here for much less.
https://www.cigarbid.com...double-robusto/3537692/ Pack of 5 for $23.00

Java Red Robusto (5.5" x 50) Pack of 5 Max Bid should be $17.50. Last night it was $41!

Gurkha Beauty Rothschild (6.5" x 58) Pack of 5 Max Bid should be $12.50. Last night I was $27!

and every night I see the Drew Estates Factory smokes going for up to $2.50 per cigar. All under $2 per at C.I.

These are today and ALL over bids for what these cigars should go for.
https://www.cigarbid.com...gne-super-toro/3537314/ Pack of 5 for $46! Should be around $30.
https://www.cigarbid.com...tosupremacigar/3536362/ Box of 20 for $123! Should be around $60!
https://www.cigarbid.com...las-toro-gordo/3536468/ Box of 20 for $152. Should be around $120.
https://www.cigarbid.com...****-churchill/3536388/ Box of 20 for $41. Should be around $30!
https://www.cigarbid.com...97-maduro-toro/3537551/ Pack of 5 for $41. Should be around $25!
https://www.cigarbid.com...eta-1875-bully/3536488/ Pack of 15 for $59! Should be around $40.
https://www.cigarbid.com...rpedo-cameroon/3537296/ Pack of 5 for $26. Should be around $15.
https://www.cigarbid.com...cubana-serie-r/3536598/ Pack of 15 for $63! Should be around $45!
https://www.cigarbid.com...rie-red-habano/3537464/ Pack of 5 for $27! Should be around $15!
https://www.cigarbid.com...-cameroon-toro/3537344/ Pack of 5 for $26. Should be around $15!
https://www.cigarbid.com...s-50-years-bfc/3537320/ Pack of 5 for $23. Should be around $13.
https://www.cigarbid.com...-shaggy-sultan/3536594/ Pack of 5 for $19. Should be around $11.

AND TONS MORE. And there is still 4 to 6 hours to go LOL!!!!! Hit FREE FALL until the virus surge dies down. Can get many good options there for under $3 per cigar.

Heh heh..........go easy on Rah Gunner.
He has come a long way.
Back in the day he used to beg us to bid on the yard gars he’d volume did on because he didn’t want to end up with a dozen 5-Vegas tenskis..............at $24/ea.

Never did figure out why he changed his handle to “numbahs”.....

I give up. I can't win a single decent smoke for a "great" or "good" price (per herf.io). I think I will just smoke what I already have and wait out this craziness instead of bidding on chit knowing some one will bid way too much and win it...

May be the best policy, Stogie. I would estimate that there will not be many good deals until at least after labor day. I don't get the current wave of bidding up on just about everything cigar. One would think prices would decline when the economy goes south - but it seems to be contrary. They are not going to stop making cigars forever, if much at all.

Honestly, I think so many people are used to buying at retail stores and now can't. Most of them are buying from the mother ship, etc, but the overflow is coming here and driving prices up.

My list of "slightly hard to find/win" smokes I have been trying to acquire will have to wait until the crazy dissipates.

Folks can bid up a lot of smokes with $1200!!!

That is, if they don't use it to buy a big screen TV, guy I know at Best Buy said they had one of their best weeks ever last week with people spending the stimulus $$$$

And it's not just cigars...
When I win a lot or two, and there's time before my weekly shipping day, I typically bid on Boveda packs. I figure I'll use them eventually, and I'll save on the shipping. I generally set my max bid at the retail price, and I haven't won Bovedas in about a month.

Yah!
Well, Rah says he buys cigars for a friend or two as well, who are amazed at the price they get from him compared to their local shpo.

Think

Wonder what Rah’s markup is?

$64.99 at CI

Eh..........not an atrocious overbid.........when compared to the CI price..........but atrocious nonetheless.
Thing is, there are LOTS of poor saps out there who spend $12 on a dog rocket RP at their shpo, and are clueless.
Then somehow they stumble into this nuthouse, and pretty much piss themselves for a few months until they figure things out.
