I noticed that as well, VERY cheap price on those Punch!
I hope the current order goes better than the first one with them. Caught their flash sale on El P's, I love those little suckers. I tried their site out around 2013, and it got snagged, so I just took the refund and stuck with the other two main suppliers I utilize. I don't order much anymore, just replace my regular El P's and whatever a friend that's a LEO desires. His Union attorney told him that he didn't need any attention from DHS, LOL.
Not a bad setup actually, I'm his "mule" and my wife was his "White Momma" as he calls her. During her 1st marriage, she helped him with a job, vehicle, trips back and forth to Knoxville and when he signed with the UT football team, that was during Peyton Manning's last year. The next year, UT won the National Championship. I have never been a fan of watching football, since I was required to quit after Pop Warner. Long story, but basically my Mother had just been diagnosed with Cancer and when she asked me to quit in Jr High, I had to go along with her wishes. I stuck with baseball and basketball, though.
SO, a couple of years ago, when he kept seeing my cigar posts, he sent a PM on facebook and I told him that I could easily help him out. My damn liquor and cigar collection may possibly outlive me, LMAO! When he was messaging with my wife, he was blown away that I had NEVER been to a UT footballl game. SO, they hatched up a surprise for me to get to tailgate with his buddies, go to a game and go down on the field, since he has perks and all. We were too late to get on the field, because it was a televised game, and they stopped "walk-arounds" early. I was definitely surprised at the size of that stadium! Even more pleased at how they tailgate. It's a bunch of older players, mostly LEO's and one has a short bus that has a large screen TV that they put up on the side, under a tarp, as well as a beer tap that comes out of the side of the bus as well!!!
We were invited to the Championship reunion game last year, but that was the first event that our oldest daughter put together as a tribute to Peyton, my oldest grandson that we lost to Cancer in '14. I actually walked the 5k with minimal pain. This year, I'm going to start with on of those "Couch to 5k" apps and start training to actually get a number and run. I don't even have dreams of winning my age group, I just want to be able to honor him by competing and completing the course. I would really like to try and make a goal of a 10 minute mile. That's likely a stretch, but even with my back and health issues, I have lost weight and regained a bit of strength by getting a push mower and mowing our yard for the past 3 years. I lost around 40 pounds, but picked up almost 10 over the winter.
Oh well, there's my stories for today.
