local sports writer wrote today that the Bruins' competition does not seem to be getting tougher by the round.
It's looking like the only team that can beat them is themselves.

St. Louis (jespear) vs. Boston (Whistlebritches)

Blues have never won the Stanley Cup and haven't been to the finals since 1970!!

two athletic cities I really hate: Boston and St. Louis...wish both of them could lose...but if I have to pick one, it would be Boston...

massholes are bad enough with the Pats and Red Sox reigning champions, especially since they both beat an L.A. team...they'd be insufferable if Bruins win...

but I think Detroit did all three in the same year like in the 40's?...I'll check
