The illegal aliens in our country are not immigrants. They are alien invaders. It is time they are treated as such.

and how do The Laws on the books say this should be done?

what would you add to punish those enticing them and more with employment opportunities?
opportunities that Americans are not taking...

way too much to read, but it seems that an employer could face fines of $1,000 to $3,000
well worth the risk for the vast majority of businesses.

Oklahoma figured this out and substantially solved their problems with illegals:

Quote:
Section 3 of HB1804 makes it a felony in Oklahoma, punishable by no less than one year's imprisonment by the Oklahoma Department of Corrections or/and a $1,000 fine, to:

Transport, move, or attempt to transport any illegal alien
Conceal, harbor, or shelter from detection by law enforcement any illegal alien.

Employers should be hit hardest..........I agree without employment these illegal aliens would finally put so much strain on the system deportation willing or otherwise would be the only answer.

My proposal is one year imprisonment and $25,000 fine for each illegal alien under your employment. At #10 you get life and complete forfeiture of all business assets.

those solutions may help with a small percentage of the illegal aliens who cross the southern border...but would be ineffective with the majority of illegals: those who entered the country with a legal visa, but have stayed beyond the expiration date...

here's an article about the total picture of illegal immigration in the US: the who, the where and the how...it's not all brown people coming across the southern border...far from it...

I tend to agree...but what if the "get in line" laws are impossible to execute and enforce or purposely squeezed by lack of effort, funding, support...

illegal immigration was OK before this great nation existed, was a main contributing factor to this nation's birth, and was encouraged by our founders and leaders throughout the first half of our history and then mostly tolerated ever since...migration has been a phenomenon and driving force for humankind all over the world...

I'm not saying that we should have open borders, and we definitely should have control over who comes in...but our policies should reflect the human desire of peoples all over the world to live free and safe, and our proud history that this country is the greatest example of that...

The line is really long and expensive. That's why people take a calculated risk and just try to stay in the country. The goons on capitol hill have no desire to make immigration or asylum any easier or more efficient because immigration is one of those hot button issues that politicians use to manipulate and fire up their bases during election years.
