I know, right?? I bet if I opened a Del's Lemonade in my town I'd be Rich, I tell ya!

No... I'd still be Shawn, but I'd have a lot more money.

I was standing in front of the school waiting for my son when an oddly strong little 5 year old girl I'd never seen before came up to me, enthusiastically exclaimed how easy it is to catch butterflies with your hands, then grabbed onto my forearm and tried dragging me over to the bushes... I think I was almost child molested...

Went to my local to splurge on a la volcada... all gone... Went to grab something else and mentioned it to the young lady working there that I was gonna grab the last one if it was still there... She reached up on the top shelf and grabbed the box with the last one in it and handed it to me... Made my day...

Well... it depends on the cheese. If you were compared to white cheddar, or provolone it's likely a compliment. Limburger or brie, on the other hand...

I got 33 pounds of pork up on da smoker. The WSM... cuz the pellet smoker would struggle and fail miserably to heat that much meat with such a tiny pot of fire.

But I gotta work... which sucks.

Good morning. Awake since 5:00am due to neck and back pain.ram27bat
Big day today: Haircut, son gets home from college and four Club seats for tonight'a Orlando City soccer team v Toronto FC. I know it is only MLS... but the tickets came as a gift from a lawyer I know and probably go for at least $150/seat- which includes cigar lounge, unlimited gourmet buffet and open bar during the entire match! Seems like I owe someone with a ten-er of finely aged Cubans, huh? Herfing

My only granddaughter is graduating from ASU magna **** laude next week. Very proud of her as she worked part time jobs all through college and will have very little debt compared to many classmates.

My first grandson also graduated magna **** laude a few years ago. Not sure where they got the DNA as my degree was more of a "we'll give you this if you promise to leave" kinda thing.

Morning all, anyone have plans for Cinco de Mayo? I'm going to the local parade, eating some traditional Hispanic food, and drinking Modelo Negra.

sounds good.
I might build a small wall to keep bunnies from eating the tulips and stuff.
maybe more like a tiny fence...but it will be beautiful and I won't have to pay for it (I'm gonna steal it from another neighborhood).

Busy day so far. New car battery (thanks, Volvo, for making this a hassle), picked up stuff at Home Depot (at least got to see my son, who works in marketing for Milwaukee/Ryobi), dreaded Walmart visit (glad I remembered to take my BP meds), tried to get gas but a power outage had killed the pumps at both stations.

I need a drink and a cigar. And some Xanax.

Now craving rabbit fricassee.
