We get loads of heat and humidity from mid June till mid September.

Weather's pretty nice for two weeks in June and two weeks in September. The rest of the year kinda blows.

Portage/Valpo area-ish. Got it. Thought he was an Ohioan for some reason.

From the nights you have in the ER, I'd think you live on the one, countrified acre within Gary.

Was an Ohioan for about 18yrs. Valpo area ever since college. Used to tell myself I enjoy actual seasons, but second guessing that theory as the years go on

Average high this time of year is 63. Got sun both Saturday and Sunday and 70. I don't mind Spring taking its time.

We get a week or 10 days of the 90 degrees and 80% humidity. Don't like feeling like a fat woman's tampon.

If all the seasons were an equal length, it wouldn't be so bad. The 2 months of Summer gets crushed by the 40 weeks of winter. The months worth of Spring and Fall are nice. Cept the raking.

True story.

If it could be 3 months of each, would be a lot more pleasant.

Someday I'll move somewhere between Chattanooga and Bowling Green. Seems like that would be a better fit for me climate wise.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask.... roast me if not. But I wonder if most here buy from the freefall, or the auctions? I have gotten some good deals as of late, auction wise. And have been SNIPED a few times too! Angry But from reading past posts I keep a window open to the Motherships site to keep a price comparison... The good deals make me wonder how much prices are marked up..lol

I have scored some good buys on Freefall, just have to be patient and wait for lowest $$$$ pricing. Better than waiting to be sniped on auctions. 😨

I've gotten decent buys both ways. Auctionwise just hold to a max bid for what your willing to pay and let it ride. You'll find yourself overloaded soon enough

Wife is gonna kill me if I keep buying..lol. Some of these auctions I see these guys overpaying.... its funny yet sad at the same time. Its like they just get wrapped up in the bid war. Gotta know when to say when like you said

That sounds reasonable. How far south do I have to go to live in that climate? Guessing... South Carolina?

Patience for sure. Uncanny how something can fall down to a specific amount, give or take a dollar, many times in a row, then the next few have $5-$10 swings.

Called the tranny place and asked them to change the lube in my rear end while they were messing around under there. Dude on the phone said no problem, truck's on the lift getting reassembled and that they will probably be done in the next day or two.

Drafter knows why....he was prolly a big fan of the Dukes of Hazard and the Beverly Hillbillies ...someone should warn Daisy Mae not to jump in bed with him...
