I’m sure I’ll catch heck for this, but just a quick question. If I make a bid and don’t win the bid do I lose my money?

No, only process winning bids.

If you're a Platinum member, you'll get a full refund.
Regular bidders lose 10% of their bid.......it's called a Loser's Penalty.

That's why we say.............Never lose a bid!

Ram is 100% correct. CBid only processes winning bids; however, losing a bid is a sign of weakness. Win at all costs!

But if you could convince people to bid at such a site. Think of the profits.

Eh? OhMyGod OhMyGod Eh?

My suggestion would be to delete your user name and start over. You can't recover from this.

I think this guy Dave is Joshing us, tho there is an auction site out there that works like that - you lose what you bid if you lose. You can win some for a low bid or just lose the amount of the bid. Can't remember the name of the site and not sure if it's still out there.

Considering the question, I'd assume he's a graduate of any of the major Liberal Arts Colleges/Universities.

Once you post something on the internet it is no longer yours to edit. You could delete you original post, but it has been quoted and will remain here unless board management decides it should delete them all. Of course internet bots are looking here all the time and it will undoubtedly be copied and available by use of a search engine.

Victor may be correct in assessing your collegiate history.
