Don't normally do this but any good vibes ya'll can send my wife would be appreciated.
She's 34 weeks pregnant and having some serious kidney stone issues causing some other issues not being able to eat or drink much at all. We were at the OB ER Monday until 12 AM Tuesday and now we're back again.

TIA,

Chris

Quick update

Urologists came in and after another ultrasound they seem to have a diagnosis.
She's got a 13mm stone blocking the flow in her left kidney so the only option is to admit her
and do a stint procedure tomorrow to restore the flow and help with the pain. The stone won't clear on its own
so it'll stay until our daughter is born and then they'll revisit removal options afterwards.

I'm a bit nervous about them putting the girls to sleep and a bit of radiation exposure during the process but the Dr states it minimal and shouldn't cause any issues....... thanks again gentlemen you all here ain't too shabby when it comes down to it.
When it all matters we've shown again and again there's still a few good ppl out there!

Tell Mandy we are praying for her.

When she's passed the child I'll tell her how to pass the stones...…….I don't tell pregnant woman anything.

Nothing but good vibes headed your way. You'll both get through this, and while it maybe hard now keep in mind you'll someday be talking about this in the past tense and all will be right with the world. Hopefully that's when my box will land and you'll be sharing a glass and good memories:-)

So the stent was put in and she's not in the pain she was but there is still some discomfort (Urologists say it's normal)
The stones will be addressed after little Raelyn makes her appearance. They eventually decided not to sedate the girls and
did a nerve block instead so it was a bit different than what we were expecting.

Thanks for the prayers ladies and gentlemen.......needless to say after being in the hospital 90% of this week we're ready to head home!

Great news! When is she due to arrive? Are you prepared? With my son it was easy, a tap to the back of his head and a good glare and things got done.... With my daughter I can glare and growl until the world ends, she rolls her eyes at me and I wind up buying two of whatever it is she wants. I fear the day a granddaughter arrives. Enjoy it;-) It goes SO fast!
