Tornado touchdown about 5 miles from home. Didn't last long though.

Seems it's all passed for now. Forecast says another wave of storms between 9-11p.

Back to work.

Rain coming tomorrow and thursday. Rototilled the garden today, but it took almost an hour to get the damn thing started and when I finished it started making loud strange noises. Mowed some more and did some other yard work. Tomorrow I rest aft

Still kinda halfass wish the big oak tree would fall on the camper/garage so I can replace both.

But not in the mood to deal with that headache right now.

Hitting the road for a week tomorrow morning for Gridlife midwest festival. Already stressed enough about that.

Should be just about set for the week in Michigan.

I wrote down the menu and ingredients, double checked stock on hand vs serving sizes. Might run dry on eggs. Think I should be good for everything else. I hope.

Camper's packed with everything but clothes. Changed oil and checked fluids in the truck, checked tires on camper. Shpuld repack camper bearings but dont have time plus its raining again/still.

Looks like I'm housing 4 dudes too. I need a bigger camper. Toy hauler would be perfect. Someday....

Rolling out tomorrow by noon.

Somehow wife hasn't raged on me yet about Gridlife. Usually by this point she's no longer speaking to me. Today she actually offered up some stuff from the fridge for me to take with. Wonder what's going on...

She gave me the bunn coffee maker. And told me to put one of my pairs of lawn shoes in the camper for backup.

I think I might be moving out?

Are there boxes of stuff stashed behind the door?

So I just got off the phone with the site ops dude, doesn't look like I was allocated power this year. Wouldn't normally be an issue, I just run my baby 400w generator to run fridge and lights. Some years I've plugged into other people's camper's outside outlets so I'm not contributing to the noise as most are plugged into a super quiet 18kw diesel generator.

But since I'll need 2kw for cooking in bulk, I'll have to be the jackass that runs a giant gas noisemaker genset in the staff campground.

Won't need it overnight for AC though, weather's looking cold cloudy n wet.

All the things.

But remember, I'm lazy n don't fix chit. So I don't think that's a concern.

Guess I'll find out in a week

No boxes, but lately she's stopped folding n putting away my clothes after doing laundry. Dumps em on the floor next to the dryer.

I did a few loads a week or two ago and was told I fold wrong, so maybe that's part of it? I dunno.

Find out in a week
