In the past there hasn't been an entry fee to play this. This year you will be required to put up two Cuban cigars that need to be listed when you submit your entry. I will also send some extra CC's as well (not sure what I have anymore).
Each person will need to send their cigars to the winner as determined by me.

Rules:
1. You must have been a member here for at least a year.
2. If you have won this before you can't play.
3. Submissions that are not the format listed below will not count (so pay attention to the rules).
4. I'm the final judge, jury and arbiter of any and all things related to this contest.

Post here the top three finishers for the Grand Prix of Monaco, Indy 500 and the Coca-Cola 600. The winner will be the one who has all of the 3 race’s winners. In case of a tie I will go with the points awarded (see how I’ve done it before in attached thread) to each person's selections in each of the races (most correct). Good luck and the deadline is May 24, 2018 at 5 PM EST. Please post in race order (i.e. Monaco, Indy, Coca-Cola and then the top 3 for each race)

Good luck and have fun with it!!

Here is a link to last year's contest if you are not up to speed on what this is about.

http://www.cigarbid.com/...I-and-Not-the-Final-One

Please use this format when posting your picks and post the full first and last names (when there is any doubt) as there are brothers that race in the same series.

Grand Prix:
1. Vettel
2. Hamilton
3. Bottas

Indy 500:
1. Dixon
2. Castroneves
3. Montoya

Coca-cola 600
1. J. Johnson
2. K. Kahne
3. Kyle Busch

Cigars: Partagás Shorts (Box Code: FEB18),
Romeo y Julieta Belicosos (Box Code: JAN18)

ONLY ONE SUBMISSION PER PERSON!!

RIP F1 legend Niki Lauda.

In the past there hasn't been an entry fee to play this.
This year you will be required to send a fiver of your choice to the troops/Opfth (ask if you don’t know what this is).
Deadeyedick and I are each going to put up a fiver of CC’s for the winner.

Rules:
1. You must have at least 100 posts when you submit your picks.

2. If you have won this before you can't play.
3. Submissions that are not the format listed below will not count (so pay attention to the rules).
4. I'm the final judge, jury and arbiter of any and all things related to this contest.

You’re fine. Given the limited number of people who participated this year. The only reason for the deadline is to get people’s picks before the F1 qualifying. Which is key in Monoco. The potential for rain could throw a big monkey wrench in this race. Personally, I would like to see it happen. Leclerc just FUBAR’ed his race. fog

I watched some of the F1 qualifying and I thought Bottas wrecked in qualifying? Is there no penalty for that? I haven't watched much F1, more of a Nascar fan.

Edit: Now that I think about it maybe it was Vettel that wrecked, either way I thought one of the top 5 wrecked in qualifying.

She's into Dirt Track racing now.
Outlaws, PA Posse, Tony Stewart, etc.
We went to our first race last week at Bridgeport Speedway in N.J.
Had a blast !
(Next time, I'm bringing goggles, though !)

I think each year I have done fairly well on the Grand Prix and the NASCAR but then get soundly beat by the Indy 500. With the Indy 500 scoring 4x the scoring of the other two, I usually lose. I believe that has happened again.

Okay after mucking around with a spreadsheet this morning I've got the points totals for everyone. I wish that I could attach the SS with all of the results but this will have to do. Let me know if anyone has any questions. Thanks again.

That makes delta1 this year's winner. Please send me and DED your snailer. Next year I'm going to tweek with the rules some more and most likely give bonus points for picking the correct finishing spots (i.e. Win, Place, Show bonus points).
I have to give a shout out to stinger88 for almost picking the trifecta in the Coco-Cola 600.

Thanks for everyone who participated this year.
