Haven't read the books, but I did just read an absolutely blistering review of Surprise, Kill, Vanish in Sunday's WaPo. Reviewer managed to get some jabs in on previous works, also.

Well....a 62 year old "metal scrapper" and trash picker on Medicaid and SOCIAL SECURITY doesn't lead an exciting "civilian subcontractors life" anymore....

I MISS MULTIPLE PASSPORTS and traveling incognito though...

The dumb fuuuuuks shoulda' followed me in the late 70s and most of the 80's
....I was a mover and a shaker...
