Yep. I hear ya. I left a message a while back about an issue and gave them ample time to respond. Nothing.
Got aggravated, so I called in, explained the situation. They were extremely helpful and truly wonderful to deal with. And no, I’m not on the payroll. (But if they were to see this and send some heavy maduros my way, well, I’d be OK with that)
Just pick up the phone and call them. You will get immediate help and they will make sure you are well taken care of. Why they offer the email/message option when it seems no one is paying attention is beyond me. But when I pick up the phone? I have NEVER been disappointed.

If you're operating a business, there's no excuse for not responding or at least acknowledging of receiving your message or inquiry within 48 hours. Thank you to all who shared your comments and feedback. I'm glad I'm not alone in my sentiment. Enjoy your cigars and have a wonderful day/evening.

Joined in 2000, zero posts for 19 years.

All snarkiness aside, if you've had one issue in 19 years, sent an e-mail/message a week ago, and follow up with a post to a forum, seems to me the company has acquitted themselves very well.

Concur with everyone here, some light ribbing (you should see this place when folks really get rolling) is in order, and a call Monday AM will likely resolve your issue quickly.

Send 'em thong pictures too-Trish likes that.

Waited on the line to talk to customer service several times. Waited for an hr and still haven’t talked to anyone yet.
What should I do? They owe me some cigars or my money back.
Is anyone working in customer service?

They do not have anyone "Working" customer service. Mostly the reps sit on these forums, BS, and say snarky things to people who post in the chat.

Basically they are taking your money and hoping you don't dispute the charges with your credit card company. Taking money is soo much easier than shipping cigars out.

I'm impressed that the nood researched and revived a thread from over a year ago for his first post...I guess cuz there just weren't any CS complaint threads recently.

I am also going on 14 days with ZERO response from Cbid.

I’ve sent multiple CS requests and tried to call.

CS is the MOST important part of any business and this one is doing a piss poor job at it.

If I don’t hear back soon it’ll be chargeback and BBB complaint city. I don’t have time to mess around with lazy/uncaring business owners...it’s shame too because I’ve placed and been happy with multiple orders over the last year or two.

They are not lazy and uncaring.

They put in a lot of effort into taking your money, so they can't be lazy.

They take great care of the money they get from you, so they cannot be uncaring.

I only wish there was some kind of explanation for their lack of service. My local brick and mortar closed because of some thing called COVID-19. Maybe that is causing problems at CBid, I'm just guessing.

Chargebacks are a real thing, if you have had enough, do it.

Purchased 3 auction packs on 6/18/20 and was charged for all. Only one was delivered. I have called the customer service number 5 times at different times of the day and stayed on hold for 30 minutes each time - no answer. I have sent in 4 CS requests for updates on the order - no response to any. Their prices and my past experience has always been good, but there is a big problem with the company right now. On 8/18/20 it will be 2 months with no delivery and no response and no way to talk to anyone. I will be filing a dispute with my credit card for the $125 worth of product not delivered. Be careful with CigarBid until they make it through whatever it is that is causing them to eliminate all customer service.

Horrible customer service! Same service as kirkdeg. No response for over 1 week. They have my credit card number and will not respond. I have over 500.00 of orders in the system and they will not respond or ship. Something is going on here. I would suggest not purchasing from them until they get there **** together.

If you’re able to READ you would see on the promoted screen that an existing order # can’t be processed with a changed card. In other words once your order is CREATED you cannot THEN change your card. You must do so BEFORE there is an ORDER NUMBER......

So now you have to call CS for them to help you.

Or if you’re smart you’ll private message Celticbomber and actually get prompt service.

You seem like a good egg. The owner of CBid is named Dave, he actually takes pride in helping longtime forum members here with issues. Call 214-914-3337 ask for Dave, and tell him what’s going on he will set things right for you.

Call between 9-5 central time, and you’re going to have to wait until Monday as he always takes Black Friday off to watch his kids while his wife goes shopping.

He’s a great BOTL.
