morning, gang.

off to see a specialist, she tracks nerves or something.it's related to finger tingling/numbness/pain when my elbow is in the wrong position...which is often.

she modestly lists her specialty as : Physiatry, Neuromuscular Medicine, EMG, Prolotherapy, PRP.

I could live with the discomfort, but have been told it will get worse. Surgical option will likely be proposed but is not a big undertaking.

Robert may have dealt with this a while ago...

can't believe I said undertaking

Nah, they used a local anesthetic, didn't have to knock him out first.

They took a nerve out of the tripod and planted it in his arm. Now his pointing finger acts like a squirt gun.

not my whacking arm, so I got that going for me.

Robert, starts with the fark-you and ring fingers, and if I don't change arm angle the others join in the fun, including the thumb. That is when it starts to hurt.

nerve tracker doctor person said (after trying to electrocute me) that the results showed both carpal tunnel (surprise to me) and funny bone stuff. She said the surgeon will have the results before my follow up with him Tuesday morning. We'll see what he suggests.

Thinking strongly about alternative treatments...acupuncturist and/or chiropractor...and may get a second opinion from a hand/arm surgeon who did not operate two years ago for an unrelated injury.
Though I've been told the surgeries are not very complicated, I'm not in much pain and could hold out for a while.

Asked her about a stiff neck that seems to be related to an area on the side of my head that is sort of like a headache but more like weird pressure. She said most likely arthritis from the neck/shoulder.

Good thing I'm a manly man.

Side note, I declined to remove my pants despite her incessant begging. Not easy for me, she's an attractive Asian.

Actually relaxing tonight, feels good. I have been very busy with minor details in the new house. The majority are finished. So a libation or 2, a good book, and good music.

We close on the mountain house end of June. About a thousand robo signatures today and pre-qualified for the loan so things are happening fast. Going to Minnesota next week so need to get this done quickly. Great team working on all the details.

You did the right thing, you would have only wanted another one after an hour or so besides Jews don't eat Chinese food until Christmas Day!

As for the nerve thing. I'd get it taken care of immediately. Nerve issue's never get better and they can only get worse. The sooner you deal with it the better, trust me. I'm still kicking myself for putting off some nerve issue's I have in my hands and back. I said the same things, I'd don't need surgery etc etc I can just man up and deal with it on my own..... Wrong! By the time I did start dealing with it things had gotten a lot worse than they had to be....

P.S. Did you just admit to having a numb skull? See what I did there!jester
