#51 Well that is an entirely different issue. I've often wondered why the federal government went all HAM over Microsoft, then nothing major on Apple, Ticketbastard, and about 10,000 other companies. I mean, the last time I saw Rush, the ticket face value was $57. With various fees added (the "convenience" fee now covers what a pair of tickets to a big name act used to cost), the total was $95. That's a 60% markup. The mob must be wondering how to manage that kind of markup. But really, what major legislation has Congress managed to pass in the last 10 years? Our entire government is basically Seattle or L.A. at rush hour. Lots of hot gas, lots of noise, promises to go places and get things done, then in an hour, you've gone maybe a mile. Waiting for the government to do something helpful any more is like using hope instead of a condom to avoid getting pregnant. That's why you have to vote with your wallet, feet, clicks, whatever the currency in question may be.
It's a dog eat dog world out there, and we're all wearing Milkbone underwear (credit: "Norm!").
