80/105 today so a round of golf was in order. Going to start heating up to 110-112 range the rest of the week.

Slept poorly today. Was falling asleep on the drive home so I went straight to bed. Woke up at noon.

Looks like I'm walking into a mess at work too.

Gonna be a fun night. Logged in from home, looks like all the patients are going crazy.

Met with management this morning, looks like I'm getting forced away from direct patient care in the coming year as well.

Just a whole lotta fun today.

picking up the granddaughter early afternoon. Might take her to one of the stables nearby...I think they sell pony rides.
Yesterday was too hot to hang out at the playground, yet we did it, but today will be even hotter.

Last night wasn't as bad as I was expecting.

Day shift had tacos brought in for someone's birthday. They were sitting out in the break room for about 12 hours by the time I got to em, but it made my night better.

Fishing buddy is working OT this week... figured I'd do a charter today, but when I got to the ramp the line was way too long. That boat is gonna be elbow to elbow... so I turned my happy ass around and went home.

Maybe tomorrow... but not if it's ridiculous.

LOL....me neither...I just settle for those fish within two miles

Even if they aren't what I'd prefer to catch that day, it'd be a damn sight better than going home and NOT fishing

I had a buddy who used to fish from a kayak in the ocean... Always tried to get me to go along, but as much as I love fishing, I respect the ocean too much to taunt her...

we had a conversation about it not too long ago... He gave up kayaking after having kids and getting a boat... But he did finally admit that never once did he fell comfortable out there...

Haven't kayaked on the ocean. But I have been in Chesapeake Bay and routinely on other big waters. Respect for the waters, weather, boat traffic, etc. is absolutely necessary no matter where you fish

I always thought it would be fun to scuba off a kayak. Just never had the space for all the equipment when I was close enough to the ocean to do it.

I don't care about any of that stuff... Sharks, man... They've figured out that kayakers are essentially an ocean walnut... You gotta crack through that outer shell but after that it's all meat...

First... true, true...

Second... that's why I don't go alone into the open ocean. It's foolish. I have other people I could go with, and I do on occasion, but I prefer fishing with Art for a few reasons. He speaks Spanish, and we fish in Mexico. He's as crazy about fishing as I am. He shares costs, he helps clean up, and he's got the routines down. He has fished with me more than anyone else, and whether we're launching, recovering, fishing or cleaning... we have our roles and we don't even have to communicate much.

Is that on the road across Pond St., at the Conrad's and La Scala restauraunt intersection....heading towards Canton? Stable would be a few miles up on the left....When I was a small child, my grandfather used to take my sister and I there for pony rides...one of my greatest childhood memories...if that's where your headed, ask for Peanuts....that's the pony I always wanted to ride/rode...that was about 55 years ago though....Peanuts may have slowed down a bit...horse

that is one of the places. When you leave my neighborhood take a right and it's a half mile on the left.
My kids used to ride Red...pretty sure Peanuts grew up, married, and raised a few ponies out west.
