And the hits just keep on coming...

So I get ANOTHER box and when I open it I see this.....

A Palio Cigar cutter
A Shuriken cutter - This is a new one on me. Gonna have to find a video to see how to use it properly
A Visol single torch lighter for touch ups... If you're one of the wee folk. Lol it's smaller than my pinky. But appreciated!
a small Stinky ashtray with a cigar holder
A hat from the local shpo...rhymes with Bolts.... Kinda funny that I live 10 mins away from there but this hat traveled the country to get to me;-) (This time my son claimed/Stole it)

2 LFD Chisel Selection Samplers
2 Diamond Crown Toro Samplers

and last but not least a jar of Mayhaw Pepper Jelly. Another new one on me. This stuff is delicious! It's already half gone! I tasted it and loved it. So, I called my son in since he likes to cook and try new things. Big mistake, I mentioned how he might want to try cooking some chicken with it and also mentioned how Corey said he sometimes eats it just on a cracker. So, half a box of crackers and half a jar of Pepper Jelly GONE. WTF? I guarantee the person who wrote the laws about how you have to feed your kids or it's child abuse never had a teen aged or in my case 20 year old boy living with them. If they did there would be a loophole that allows you to beat them for eating stuff meant for you. Thank you for everything Corey. The cutters, the chance to try that Diamond Crown Caesar that was talked about earlier and for the chance to revisit the chisel tips and this time follow Franks advice of pinch and pull (I think we were still talking about cigars at that point, you never know with Frank;-) Finally thank you for the Pepper Jelly! I love getting introduced to new things like this and can't wait to cook with it as well as snack on it with some crackers and maybe some cheese too!

Now for the obligatory "I have your address now. So watch your back Jack! Paybacks and all that."

Thank you very much for the kind and extremely generous gift. I really appreciate it. So does my son... there's gotta be a spray or something to make him stay out of the kitchen

Nice hit. Now we just need to help you fill that new humidor.

Let me know how the Shuriken does. I've almost bought one but couldn't decide if useful or just gimmicky

I've got one of them laying around gathering dust...cool concept, but seems to blow the end of the cigar up, like Moe, Larry, and Curly...oohh lookAnxious
I just use a punch, works great, and hardly ever destroys the cigar

Me too. Bought one, 3-ish, maybe 4 years ago. Tried it a couple of times but really didn’t feel it was better than either my guillotine or V-cutters. Threw it in a drawer and forgot about it till this post.

Imo, the Shuriken is good for someone who hasn’t mastered using a guillotine and cuts too much of the cap off and almost always has what’s left of the cap unravel.

I simulated that last year on a backpacking trip.

My punch broke, so I used a razor sharp knife to cut the curve
between the center tip and the outside in a star pattern,
making sure not to get too close to the center.

Got pretty good at it by the third cigar.
The draw was smoother than you would think...

Has to be a sharp blade and serrated helps but I've managed a decent straight cut with a knife. Only cried a little on the one I pressed to hard on and shattered half the cigar
