Picking up some essentials at the store.
Saw the potato(e) chip display.

Cape Cod Potato Chips has a new flavor: Cape Cod Summer
Cracked Pepper and a hint of lemon.

Brilliant!

Zapp's brand potato chips are made in Gramercy, Louisiana. The chips are kettle-cooked in peanut oil. Zapp's market themselves with their Cajun heritage, using names such as "Spicy Cajun Crawtator", "Sour Cream and Creole Onion" and "Cajun Dill Gator-tators".

Best chips I’ve ever had.
Spicy Cajun Crawtators bein my favorite

Some of the best chips were the old lays jalapeno and cheddar I think they were. Awesome. Second runner up were Golden Flake "Hot" potatoe chips. They were great. But they could be painful, I once was eating some and had a cough/sneeze attack right as I was chomping on a very "dusty" chip. The hot stuff ended up inhaled into my sinuses... Was the most pain I'd felt in like, ever. I was a mess for like 20 minutes, just snot everywhere. Good times.

My wife found some sinus spray for migraine headaches that contained capsaicin, as in pepper spray, it didn't work really well on the headaches but it was one lively experience! The burn only lasted a few seconds it was intense.

Now if ya really wanna treat yourself, grab a sack of those moose shingles. True luxury in a chip. If heaven was flat, dry, crisp and filled with contrasting flavors, this would be it. Not easy to find, but well worth the effort. And don’t even consider the expense. Ya live once.

A perfect complement to the Gurkha Doble Maduro I’m roasting right now. Love the way the flavors meld together...

Salute to you Tony

Cape cod 40% less fat. W/ the green stripe is all I eat...
( They use peanut oil? Or safflower oil? Or canola oil?)

I can't take just about any other chip...
AND I LIVE IN CENTRAL PA...THE LAND OF SNACK FOOD
Too greasy, LARD = GASTRIC REFLUX

TRY "UNCLE HENRY'S " PRETZELS OR
HAMMONDS PRETZELS-LANCASTER PA ( THE BEST IN THE U.S. )
MARTINS IS VERY GOOD BUT TOO FRIGGIN HARD, THEY BREAK YOUR TEEFS

Canola is interesting... Essentially just a Canadian produced rapeseed oil with a lower acid content than traditional rapeseed oil... Hence the name CAN-O-LA, Canadian Oil Low Acid...

Bought a can a few years ago at a Cracker Barrel or something, Gutted me fast. Think lard may be the number one ingredient...

web site says cottonseed oil

been wondering why we consume oil from stuff we don't consider food.
