I haven't said a damn thing about my opinion on enforcing immigration laws.

Bill Clinton did a lot of things wrong. He was also like Trump in parsing words to claim innocence like the definition of is. The difference is a hypocrite would call one on it and not the other.

Yup. And some use it as a reason to excuse the inexcusable. Choose integrity. It’s no fun short term but long term wins.

Lol. That’s sad. Not the Clinton lost part.

I never liked Clinton and never voted for him. There isn’t much you could point to that I’d find justifies anything anyone else does. Your for something or against. What someone else dis is irrelevant to me. And what Clinton did on this particular issue is a false equivalency anyway.

Given that none of the people you're referencing are currently politicians, it's pretty irrelevant. Given that none of them have weighed in on the issue at hand, it's ridiculous that you're going to scream "hypocrite"... If Bill Clinton weighs in on trumpenfurher's immigration policies, you can feel free to call him a hypocrite as much as you want.

Until then my point still stands. That was a statement of a party platform 25 years ago. Parties change. As I pointed out, the dem's used to be pro slavery. I could also point out that just 25 years ago the republicans used to be for fiscal conservatism, as well as for not being completely uneducated morons. Parties change. What one politician no longer in a party said 25 years ago is not something people in the party today are in any way beholden to.

otherwise you'd have a lot of explaining to do with trumpenfurher.

Mhmm.
so the republican party is represented by anything their politicians did in the past 25 years?

That's a pretty dumb stance to take... I'm just telling you now, you may as well drop this. Because I can pull up a million things the republican party espoused in the past 25 years which trump is very much against. Proper grammar is just the start.

It's probably about time you realized that a party is made up of a collection of voters. That collection of voters changes over time... (I know this is something that's difficult for you to understand)... so while a politician may have represented a collection of voters who wanted one thing... over time, what that collection wants changes (as people join or leave a party) and the politician, if they are smart, changes their stance.

For instance, the republican party has realized that their collection of voters are racists and want a racist to represent them.... as such, their politicians have changed (see Lindsay Graham...)...

I know this is hard for you to understand... but try.

so off base it's weird. My sentence, out of context as a stand-alone statement, you'd have a shot at a lucid meaning.
But not remotely related to your analogy as a statement on voting facts in this limited usage.

but as a direct response to drafter, it has to be relevant where it was placed..."the people hated Hillary...", hence Trump.

So should I have said if she got more votes than they hated Trump more? Would that have been acceptable?

will you to write the same sentiments in the next million posts that state Hillary lost, or the like?

I still have never voted for her...0 for 2.

he he he.

It's funny when the stupid people think Trump is racist because the media told them so.

Or to those who actually believe (giggle) that they somehow formed that opinion on their own, please understand that saying bad things about somebody of color does not automatically equate to racism.

And ironically, if you google ayanna presley (the MA member of the "Squad") and Kellyanne Conway, you'll learn that it's apparently OK to tweet actual racist names. As long as it's aimed at somebody white. And Republican.

The hypocrisy by the left is growing exponentially and with complete media immunity.

Only Trump knows if he is a racist. But is there any question he said what he said to rile up racist part of the voting base whether or not he buys into his own statements?

I think you're missing or ignoring a big warning flag.

Had he come up with a term not heard before to say they are not good choices for their elected government positions, even similar words to other juvenile insults he is known for (baby, loser etc.) it would be business as usual for him.

But he went the extra mile and invoked an age old chestnut that is undeniably known for historical use as a different level of attack...much different than saying "stupid' or even Commie.

What channel is msn on Comcast? Never seen it. But I have heard "go back where you came from" many times over the decades I have been on Earth. There is no ambiguity to what it means...

however, saying it is not direct proof of his personal beliefs...but I would never dabble in racism if I didn't want to be grouped in with racists. He may not care.

I assume you apply the same assumptions to yourself... perhaps more so since you have a sample of one in which you even remotely know what is going on in their head

And sweeping all racism under the you cant criticize anyone of color mantra is a great get out of racism free card. Sprinkle a little bit of they did it worse and this is the cupcake post of the day!

It's cute that you think that trump's statements are just "saying bad things about somebody of color".

It's not funny anymore tail. At this point it just makes you look worse every excuse you make for him.

When your response to criticism from someone who doesn't look like you is "go back to where you came from" there isn't any ambiguity in whether you think they belong here. He didn't bother looking into whether they actually were born here, he stereotyped based on the color of their skin. This is something he has never done to a white opponent.

The fact that you think anyone needs the "MSM" to tell them this is racist says a lot about you.

I just poked fun at tail because he thinks anyone with differing opinions than him couldn't have come up with them on their own because he is the only one immune to media. I hope (and think) he is just stirring with those statements because if he believes that he is an idiot and ironically it's the same crap being spewed by certain media outlets and he could be accused of the same. I don't believe he really thinks that for a minute because I think he is intelligent but I have no idea what he really believes or thinks. I can only go by what he says.

As for Grandmaster Orange I think he realizes a simple concept. Remember the pictures where some see the young woman, and some the old.... and if you focus awhile you can see the other.

http://b2bdigital.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Young_Lady_Old_Woman_Content.jpg

Some folks see the racism, some don't. Some see racism more than they should, some don't see it at all even when they should.

Grandmaster T knows this and does things to stoke both camps. My wife has heard go back to her country many times over her life. She sees it as racist.... and it is. I have seen how it impacts her and am in tune with it. Others don't understand why they can't say this to folks because it wouldn't bother them if it was said to them. They have not seen the impact and are not in tune with it. That does not mean it doesn't exist, simply that they are unaware.

Depending on your predisposition you will see the old lady or the young. The grandmaster is manipulative and uses this.

Here is where I stand though...... even if I don't see the racism I can't just say so therefor it isn't. I may not see the old lady in the picture but when someone tells me they do I can't just discount them. If I focus long enough I might just see their perspective. It's really there. They are not making it up. And once I get to that point if I continue to insist and repeat (in the case of racism) then I indeed am being racist.

I don't think it can be disputed that folks of color are told to go back to where they come from at a higher rate than me. Even if I can't prove it statistically they believe that. Good enough. They are telling you what and why. Insisting to be able to continue, or there is nothing wrong with it, or turning it into they can't think for themselves, or you cant be critical of any non-white, is to simply want to be able to offend because you disrespect them. You can call it their tactic, or they are snowflakes etc. But in the end it is disrespect.

The comments are seen by many (probably most but I don't care) as racist. Forget the intent. If you want to continue to insist they are not then you are showing you really don't care if they are. That's fine but it says a lot.

And I am in no way defending "the squad". the name is stupid and juvenile and their policies worse. But that's beside the point. And you can dislike them without being racist.

And watch out for the ferryman telling you the other side hates you. They are using you. Those women do not hate America any more then grandmaster T does.

that eloquently says what the majority of Americans believe; the ideals in the hearts and souls of a majority of Americans, despite differences of race, religion, nationality...

and is what defines America, separating it from other nations in the world...it is the belief that we are all misfits, or their descendents, from other places that didn't want us, didn't care about us, or worse...

that we can put aside our differences and find common ground to build something greater than any of us...

I have no problem with name calling.

But if you choose to make your response only name calling, without addressing any of my points, I have to assume that means you do not have any information or deductive reasoning to refute my points.

So you must think I'm right. ... I'm fine with you calling me names and storming off.

Those women do not hate America any more then grandmaster T does.

well worded, never felt the writer was under any delusion...I give it an A.

I'm white, not obviously Jewish (I don't think) when looked at, and have not experienced being told to go back to where I came from, which was a well to do suburb of Boston.

But roughly between the end of the 60's and the end of the Viet Nam War, my friends and I were singled out many times, possibly due to long hair, certainly due to organized legal peaceful methods of protesting the war, and told in not very subtle ways to get out...as in get out of America. Stuff not as nice as Love it or Leave it or versions of that slogan.

We were being what we thought was very American, Patriotic even, and loving America and wanting better for and from her was the impetus.

It struck me then that people yelling the equivalent of my way or the highway, were the unAmerican one's, not us.

And turns out, good thing we stood our ground. That war ended...cuz we were right all along.

I have no problem with name calling.

But if you choose to make your response only name calling, without addressing any of my points, I have to assume that means you do not have any information or deductive reasoning to refute my points.

So you must think I'm right. ... I'm fine with you calling me names and storming off.

I haven't stormed off anywhere, I just have other more important things to do than play games with you, and if your too dumb to see that then...well I guess all I can say is "TRY TO KEEP UP", don't be such a moron....maybe if you had a better upbringing, you wouldn't be such a douche....all phrases gleaned from the Victor Clavin School of Douchebaggery....

That's one interpretation. I hope you're wrong.

In my opinion it's far more likely that Trump wanted the Dems to circle their wagons around the most outrageous within their party. The squad are a bunch of loonies and if Pelosi and Warren side with them it will be easy pickens come election day.
Again. Just another man's opinion.

Weak and weaker.

Read the original tweet that set this off.
It's not racist in the least.
Read the tweet. Not the commentary.

Maybe it's coincidence that the left among us all simultaneously interpret a typical tweet from Trump as a racist tweet. Sure. You go with that. LOL!

As for the get out of jail card? Don't be the twit that you pretend to be on these boards. It's OK for someone to make a point counter to your opinion. People are salivating over a tweet because the focal point were women of color. They immediately think it's racist (see above). Which is pathetic. And inaccurate (my opinion).

The ORIGINAL tweet:

So interesting to see “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly......

....and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how....

....it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!

The MSM thanks you for your support.

The google search is not intended to justify anyone's tweets.
It's to expose the media hypocrisy that is driving these stories.

I guess you reject the old lady because you don’t see it.

Too bad. And to make up why others do is just sad.

Read the tweet.

As for the old lady, you're confusing empathy and reasoning for intent.

Some years ago my son's lacrosse team designed a logo for their jackets.
It was a falcon looking sideways with crossed sticks.
Kinda cool and it went to the clothing factory to make jackets, hats, etc.

Then it came to a screeching halt.
Seems one older lady in town felt the logo looked too much like some old Nazi SS symbol. An eagle with crossed sabers or something.

The reason the lady didn't like it was because it reminded her of bad things.

Saying Trump's tweet is racist would be like saying the kids who designed the would-be logo were antisemitic or nazi sympathizers.

I'm not saying that the tweet can't be considered racist.
Some people think the term white house is racist.
But to have so many conclude the same thing so quickly when the words themselves don't support it?
Connect the dots.
