If you could buy only 1 box of cigars this year and price was no object what would you buy?

I've never had a Behike but I hear people either love em or hate em. I have had a Siglo and right now I think that's the box I would buy. But, I know my experience is still pretty limited compared to some here. So, I was curious, what would you get?Think

I'm getting a box of the DE BOTL edition and waiting on a site to go live to order the Mexican Experiments. Trying to decide which I wanted more made me think of the question. It's looking like 1 box of the DE Botl Corona Gorda's and 2 Mexican Experiments 1 Robusto and 1 Belicoso.... I think. Might have to be 3 because I know me and I'm gonna wanna bomb some people...... Like Stinger, AKDave, Delta1, Corey, USNGunner, Rman, etc etc to name a few. I have a list and I intend to use it!

Plan A) Asylum 13 99 Problems: reasoning is two fold. I enjoy most of the Asylum line, and I get 99 cigars to carry me through the year. It'd be rough but think I could manage

Plan B) MF Le Bijou 1922 Torpedoes: then I relentlessly taunt CB, causing him to bomb me with enough smokes to carry me through the year

Something out of Prop, Buckwheats, EXDDCO, poolcue, Pac-Man or DED’s humidor.

If I could even get the opportunity, I'd pick up. A box of the El Rey del Mundo La Reina. Since that's never gonna happen, I'd settle for a box of Siglo V.

I know... Just making a smartazz remark about the "Punch Punch"

Guess it flew under the radar. But I appreciate the gesture Delta.
Nice to know that there's somebody out there that cares... Anxious

As long as I could keep my current stash, quantity wouldn't be a concern, so I don't need some 8000 count box of Gurkhas. If I could get an Oliva MB II box (my last is long gone), that'd be tempting. Present day, I'd probably have to flip a coin, as I have a pretty good stash of well-aged stuff. I'd say (assuming no embargo, too) heads I'd get a cab of Partagas Lusitanias, tails, Monte #3.

This is easy. I'd have to go for the unobtainable 1999 - Siglo XXI Humidor. Don't worry; I would share. fog

But the important question is do you use lube?

Also, you'll have to fight Mrs. Beach for it. She's a big fan of this azz

^^I always liked the Beli #1 in the VSG and that is hardly ever my go to vitola.

I would probably go with Diplomaticos, just love that cigar and am finding CC as my go to lately.

Great to hear. Steve02 just sent me 2 Diplomatico's dated 2008. Never had before. Saving them for my son's birthday. Heh his first Cuban is going to be a spoiler. After a great tasting well aged CC it's all downhill until we both manage to get some boxes tucked away for the long sleep. Anyone a Bourbon drinker? I know we both like Woodford's, is there another top shelf brand anyone would recommend? Or actually since you've been smoking them lately Shaun, what would you pair the Diplomatico with? If anything at all? Maybe just a glass of water?

For those and the Hoyos, I’d do water - enjoy just the smoke. For everything else, for me, nothing beats Highland Park 12. They sell more aged, but I think this one pairs the best with cigars.

I thought you didn't like those small ring gauges? Is it really a great cigar or am I missing the joke?

Generally I pair cc with a rye but I find red wines to also pair nicely. Right now it is so hot outside it is mainly just beer.

No joke - it’s a 46, so big enough to be a cigar 😉

CI was having a special on Punch a while back.

I was gonna get a box of the London Club Maduros,
but I've been burned too many times by those flavor profile descriptions and reviews.

They any good?

I would get the Opus X Stairway to Heaven. That counts as one box... right?
