I think they've had more an impact than you realize... (referring to groups like proudboys, white nationalists, whatever they call themselves).

I think most northeasterners are good wif words. We suck at math, though. My kid is half Asian... really good at math, and wif words. My wife speaks 3 languages, and so does my son... but she ain't good wif words and she ain't good wif money.

And one of those idiots he told to go back to where they came from is a naturalized Somali... and an obvious Sharia law supporter and anti-semite. Her district is on the FBI's radar... more people from there try to join ISIS or other islamic terror groups than anywhere else. That tells you how she got elected.

^I have to agree that was a horribly stupid thing to say.

However...much like you stated about service not exempting anyone for their judgment... being shot down and captured doesn't make one a hero. Some of his own fellow prisoners didn't support him, and his record doesn't always indicate a love for country.

I respect your service. You are a patriot who volunteered and did your job and got paid for it. But that’s not the only reason you are a patriot it’s only part of it.

That said none of that makes you an expert or gives you more ability to declare who else is or is not a patriot. I’m sure you are not claiming that.

The issue is when someone thinks they are able to declare who is or isn’t a patriot and who does or doesn’t hate America especially when used as a political tool due to disagreements. That makes someone a self righteous idiot at best and a wicked mfer at worst.

This isn’t about you MACS. At least not to me. I dont think anyone is saying you are not a patriot. Quite the opposite. I think the point is not to do the same to others.

always felt my goals were to have America do the right thing (obviously the longer answer could never be written here).
And it is the duty of citizens to cry out when we go astray...something hopefully impossible to ever be unanimous.

not sure I'm getting the same as you from Victor though...most of the time I read him as a pessimistic style observer who writes with misanthropic sarcasm of our political scene...and he loves to argue and annoy. He's never gotten under my skin at all, I enjoy his role here.
