Making up non existent race cards while losing his mind and fight stereotypes with stereotypical threats?

Priceless to see the idiot get poorly set up and respond even more poorly.

It was dumb. And I think he apologized. Rightfully so.

I don’t know what I’d do if I was confronted in the street a time or two or especially continually. I’d probably react badly at some point myself.

If the president encouraged folks confronting me and made it in to a fundraiser like he has I’d be even more pissed.

It’s funny the reaction is noticed (rightfully so) but no issue with the instigator who in my mind is a POS as is his orange leader.

I miss the days where there was an expectation of dignity and decorum with our President and we expected more from them than a two bit journalist. Times have changed.

Not a fan of Maxine and I'm not sure what you are referencing. If its something to the effect of she did it too id say shame on both rather than oh... ok then

Just assumed you didn't know who she was... You seem to think trump deserves credit for these little stunts, but no, this was mad maxines idea, to treat the other side this way...

“And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”

She was\is wrong and should be held accountable. Trump is too. One doesn't nullify or justify the other.

Also one is the President of the united States and encourages this virtually every day on a massive platform. I'm not sure how frequently Maxine has done so on her smaller platform but once is too many. If I remember correctly though, Trump did begin doing these things prior to Maxine's comments. Again... who cares Maxine did not start it, nor did trump. Trump has perfected it though.

Do you always look for wrong from someone else to justify wrong from the guy you love? It's flawed logic.

Hannity wasted no time almost defending Fredo and calling out the instigator.....funny how not long after Hannity's post, Trump blasted anyone who came to his defense.

First a general broadside at Fox News...then Scaramuchi...now Hannity.....all's not well with the FoxNews/Trump lovefest. Saw one FN had one of their economics personalities on Martha's show last night being pretty negative about Trump, too

Might get a little entertaining

Trump does not encourage this virtually every day... That's some drama queen stuff right there...

As far as one justifying the other, it certainly does... It started with constant public harassment of republicans - whether they were practicing softball or just trying to have a meal...

These are the new rules of the game... The libs can cry all they want now that the cons have caught on, but this is what they called for...

Didn't watch hannity last night. Good for him. Cuomo and Hannity have no love loss.

I have CNN, FOX and MSNBC programmed into my XM and tend to flip between them to hear what they are all saying. Somewhere in the middle is some truth.

Yes he does. He nearly every day tells his crowd to turn and look at the press. Then he calls them dishonest despicable people. And I am being kind... dont want to go pull his full diatribe or even explain how he turned fake news as a phrase. . It is pretty well documented in film the reaction of the crowd. It is part of his schtick.... unfortunately to some of his followers its not a schtick.

As for one justifying the other you would have to say you are justifying Waters words since Trump was doing it first. Same with the baseball practice. Look at the timelines. That said one absolutely does not justify the other and it needs to stop. It's childish logic and really pretty dumb.

And lib this, lib that con this con that.... it need not be the new rules... and I'd dispute who called for it. Trump is a new breed and has always been like this. Interesting that the rules have changed but its not on him although his entry seems to coincide with things.

I'm guilty of smirking as trump came up with derogatory names to call folks in the primary and accused folks of murder and other conspiracies. he was a joke and it seemed funny. Then it wasn't. What he is doing in that office isn't something I can justify or blame on others.

Then again Republicans are the party of personal responsibility.

So trump entering the race and calling the news fake (which, news flash, a bunch of times it is) is responsible for the public targeting of controversial figures... But maxine, who actually literally called for the public harassing of controversial figures, she's not responsible...

No I didn't say that. I blame both, you are the one that is giving one a pass. I clearly am not.

But assuming your logic and the person that did it first is most responsible, that lies clearly at the feet of your guy. Thats just a timeline question. I don't absolve either. You do. I'd never defend waters and give her an undeserved pass, there is nothing about her I like or would defend. I'm not sure why you want to do so for the orange guy.

And fake news is only one small part of his sh1t show. And you know that.

Where did Fredo apologize?

CNN press release defended him.

Teedubya it’s not that I disagree with your general points of observation, but the context of public portrayal is exactly why people are upset with the press/left. If it hadn’t been allowed to get where it has you wouldn’t see what you’re pointing out. I’m NOT justifying I’m pointing out cause and effect.

Maybe he didn't say the words I'm sorry but this is good enough for me. He realized he shouldn't have done it and said so. Neither action is tolerable. Cuomo seems to know that.... my guess is the other guy doesnt

“Appreciate all the support but – truth is I should be better than the guys baiting me,” tweeted Cuomo, whose brother is New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and father was the late three-term Gov. Mario Cuomo.

“This happens all the time these days. Often in front of my family,” he wrote. “But there is a lesson: no need to add to the ugliness; I should be better than what I oppose.”

a little verbal abuse is better than some hot lead...sticks and stones break bones, but words don't hurt...something like that...

not defending that sort of behavior, but it seems that libs have adopted this uncivil behavior during Trump's reign, against cons in public, and should not be surprised when the table is turned...

nowadays, if you are a public figure and go out, there's a chance this will happen...if so, just be glad the perp didn't have a gun...

Hope we can return to the days when a person can go out and have dinner and a show without getting harassed by some knucklehead with a vid-cam trying to get 15 minutes of notoriety...

So the reaction (heat of the moment with apparent regret and apology) is worse than the planned action towards you in front of your family combined with the fundraising efforts as a result.

I'm not justifying either, both are bad. It's just interesting to me that some take issue with one but not the other. And I've heard no apology from those that provoked him, just glee and dollah signs.

How did a CHRIS CUOMO on a steroid rage turn into anything about Maxine waters?

Chris Cuomo needs a red flag ...

Delta, #38 pretty much I don’t want to see this from either side, the context of how we got here is pertinent. Teedubya that’s what I was getting at not this actual event. The bonus to me was Fredo’s reaction though.
