Hi All,

Tonight I just locked down a reunion with some old Navy Special Warfare buddies. Some of the guys from the Special Boat Unit I was stationed with in the 80's are coming in on the 27th for the weekend. We're firing up the wood fired oven for pizzas, accompanied by beer, cigars, catching up, bull****ting, and telling sea stories. Although those last two may be redundant. Beer

However, I am now painfully aware of how new and shallow my humidor actually is. Anxious

I am in dire need of a fiver of some good cigars with a little time on them. I've grown fond of Tat's La Aurora's, and A Fuente's. However, I'm open to suggestions as you guys know a helluva lot more about good cigars than I do.

I don't have a ton of premium/supers to trade, I've got some of the recent Tat ME's, Vequeros CC's, Aurora Preferidos, and have some 2018 My Father coffins coming. They're all newer stock though. I would be willing to trade or buy outright.

I would really like to have some really good smokes to cap the weekend off, and realized that my humi doesn't have the depth to do the guys justice and no local shop to hit up. We can get by with my stash, but if you have some stock you would be willing to trade or sell, let me know.

Thanks,

Vince

I don’t believe you saying Ron has it covered will stop the onslaught if I know this group (LOL)

Yes, yes they are. Way out of their way with the the goodwill and sharing of knowledge and smokes. It's good for the soul, because you can not help but pay if forward after having been beat up a little bit by the vets here. Beer

Ron came through in fine style.

https://i.imgur.com/VlJRkst.jpg

He hooked me up with the 2014 Oliva-V's for the main event.

But also tossed in:
2010 Camacho 10th Anniversary's
2013 LFD Chiselito Maduros.
2012 La Aurora 100 Anos.

I've not had any of these so I'm excited. I think we're going to do some range time so we'll have a chance to work through them.

Greatly appreciated buddy! Stand by for counter battery. Flapper

I'll get it out Monday for sure.

Great hit, Ron.

Gunner, those are all great cigars. Other than maybe the LA 100's, they all fell on towards the stronger end of the spectrum -- though they will have mellowed a bit with age... sip them

The chiselsitos can be pinched open as opposed to cut. I both learned and tried recently and it's nerve wrecking the first time. I'm wired to avoid cracking a cigar open

Nice hit yourself. Despite the "Ron has it covered, but thank you." Post. d'oh!

Thank you very much Frank, very generous of you, and appreciated.

Frank sent a La Aurora Jewel box circa 2009, A 2015 Camacho Liberty Series LE, and a selection of Nub Tubos to go with them. Very nice.

Thank you sir, I will make sure the lads get your regards.
