I dry brined a couple of whole bone in skin on chicken breasts with "Slap Yo Mam" cajon seasoning for 24 hours, then smoked them at 240 for about 2 hours to an internal of 165. Foiled them and let cool. Very nice slicable chicken for my weekly dinners.

The quality of your posts has been lacking.
Many members have adopted a zero tolerance policy.

I’m still hanging in there though

'Bout halfway down the page... in the retirement thread. Had the talk yesterday. Leaning towards next July/August, but won't make a final decision until another issue comes to a resolution.

Pretty sure the Cuaba are the Generosos (5.2")... possibly Tradicionales (4.6").

Put 50 miles on the motorcycle with the boy on the back.

Haven't rode it in two years.

Worked on it a bit yesterday and today, got her running well. Was only firing two cylinders when I parked it. Needed some new wires, a coil, and some plugs.

Gotta love new car tech. Traded my 2008 Honda CR-V for 2018. The old one got 27 mpg, with 2.3 ltr, 166hp. The new one gets 33.6mpg, with a 1.5 ltr turbo, 185 hp and is bigger.

The infotainment system tells me that "Won't Get Fooled Again" is by the Cars. Who knew? Think

ROTFLMAO! That one actually hung me up. "Wait, what?" "The Cars?" "Won't get fooled again?" WTFO?

So back on September 4th, my truck throws a code and I take it to the dealer. They perform a recall (ECU reflash) and reset the "electronic throttle control" code and give it back.

Today, less than 2 weeks and about 300 miles on the odometer later... it throws the same code. I dropped it off at the dealer and they put me in a rental car. A Ford fkn Focus is not equivalent to a RAM 1500 EcoDiesel... just saying.

Here's a bit of our banter via text when I got off work today:

Him: Sir, they discovered a leak at the EGR cooler. I ordered the part, it should be here tomorrow, I should have you back in your truck Friday.
Me: Okay... Wait a second... wouldn't that cause a coolant leak?
Him: It was leaking internally.
Me: What? Where does it go?
Him: Into the oil.
Me: Well great. We doing an oil change, too?
Him: Yes, we put new oil in it as well.
Me: What could possibly go wrong with coolant contaminated oil? *sarcasm*
Him: Absolutely nothing come on.
Me: LOL.

Absolutely nothing? Really? I'm no diesel mechanic, but I have done preventive and corrective maintenance on plenty of machinery that required lube oil, and contaminated oil is BAD. I barely put 300 miles on it since they did the last fix. They obviously cleared the code, did the fkn reflash and called it fixed... and I went another 300 miles with coolant in my oil before it acted up again. Incompetent douches.

Fortunately it has 10.5 quarts, and I keep my dash set to show me the reading on the coolant, oil and trans temp all the time. None were ever out of parameters.

American trucks serviced by slack jawed morons without any desire to provide anything above the barest minimum of acceptable customer service.

I have an '18 Accord Sport with the new 1.5 Turbo. Not a rocket like my six cylinder Accord was, but I too am pleased with its performance.
