Maybe Putin is getting nervous the impeachment thing may work so is playing the short game and pushing the buttons rather than being patient and playing the long game of deniability.

They say that. People tell me that. Of course I’m not saying that. They say Putin might just be trying to turn the jury against trump as well. I don’t know that’s just what they say.

I wouldn't worry about them. They're used to it.

A. Shouldn’t have ever been there

B. If you blame the POTUS I question where was the veracity holding congress to the fire to vote for it instead of relented power to the executive.

I liked Sweden a lot... I would not call the Swedish people losers... But they eat this stuff for breakfast called 'sour milk"... It's exactly as the name implies and its viscosity level is somewhere between that of cream and yogurt...

Z I agree with A and also blaming congress. But we are where we are now and can't pretend we are not. That does not absolve POTUS.

Absolution?

This is a perfect decision for him. At press conference the other day he explained it perfectly....I don't have the quotes, but I understood him to say:

-The Kurds are very fine people...in fact, there are very fine people on both sides
-The Kurds don't have an actual country - so they are pretty much a nobody who really can't do much of anything for us
-I like Erdogen...so f the Kurds
-Besides, Erdogen said he's only going to kill the bad Kurds and just in a small strip of Syria....who's really concerned that it isn't even Turkey? Not me?
-My base wants me to bring troops home....they didn't say anything about protecting Kurds
-My base really doesn't gaf about foreign policy, so f it....I'll do what I want

Plus, this gives the R's something to bitch about without pizzing off the Trump base, or Trump, himself, really. Everyone wins here...(except maybe some Kurds)....and just maybe Turkey likes Trump a little more than Putin this week....

I don't see Trump finding anything the least bit wrong or anything to change.

Don't forget that by making the decision to abandon the Kurds he safeguards the trump towers property in Istanbul from the turkish government for a little longer.

Very true. He himself said he had a conflict of interest in this regard.

And lets not forget this makes Putin and Assad very happy and those are his peeps.

I don't know how we became "allies" with the Kurds, other than sharing the same hatred towards ISIS. But they've obviously been fighting the fight so I have to question why we'd pull back.

In the meantime, we should pull out of NATO even faster.

F*ck those good-for-nothing azz-wipes.

Trump pulls out American Troops, the world is aghast, meanwhile NATO sits there with their collective thumbs up each others azz.

Turkey has millions of Syrian refugees.
They claim they're simply clearing out a safe zone to return them.
Not sure it's the job of the US to refuse them that right, especially since we tried to keep out Syrian refugees from the beginning.

Kurds were the only consistent group in Iraq our troops could count on. Someone else abandoned them and I didn’t read any weeping from the left here.

So excuse me TW while I ostracize the awful right wingers here now....oh wait I am not going to participate

AK-47 magazine ...let alone... be put on the front lines fighting ISIS...THOSE TWO SHELTERED IDIOTS would pee
And crappp their pants...

Those Kurds have the biggest BALLS ON THE PLANET...
BESIDES THE HMONG....and all they ask for is ARMS, amMO, FooD AND a LiTtLE $$$( not much)...

I'm going to eat a massive corned beef and cabbage lunch and drink about 7 pints of Guinness at F.J.Doyles...then invite Frank over to meet me...

When he finally shows up... I'LL act like I gotta take a leak...
And ditch that bastid ...leaving him with the bill...

Kinda sounds like WHAT TRUMP IS DOING TO THE KURDS?

but I would likely catch the server's eye and have them give me the tab before your shenanigans...given the opportunity...
cuz I don't treat friends the way Trump does.
His dad taught him everyone else is a sucker so screw 'em all (truth).
He shoulda met mine.

Any time Jonesy, but let me know in advance.

That I will...

Could come " out of the blue" though...

When I travel...
I's travel incognito and under the radar these dayzzzzz...

Best that way...I avoid all pre planned SSG INTERVENTIONS and their half baked intentions... especially the rouge ones...with a real itchy grudge...prolly the ones who leave dumps in my toilet and turn my shower head 90 degrees to soak my sorry azz before I steps in the tub...

Let's see, we're putting the Taliban back in power, Selling the Kurds out again. Kim Jong Un is a great guy. Putin is our bestest friend........ yep we're right on course to becoming 'Great again". The new national holiday Karl Marx day can't be far off. Oh, wait, Karl Marx day would make the far left way to happy. Pol Pot day maybe? Happy Tiananmen square day has a nice ring too .... Which reality TV show should we get our next Dear leader from? Survivor? Flavor of Love? That's got my vote. I mean someone already took an actual dump on the floor on that show. Might as well give them a shot at dumping on the International stage.

Oh and the Kurds never having their own country.... really?

Kurdistan existed as Kurdistan since the 12th century. Under other names before then. It's not like they're immigrants or anything. Which is a shame really. If they were they'd already have their own country walled off. Trump would have handed out the cash himself if he could get those 4 countries to wall off those evil immigrants. Then he could come home and say "See!!! Everyone else is doing it and it works!"

It was invaded repeatedly, mostly so neighbors could get at other neighbors. Kurdistan was considered to be a nice place to invade on the way to war. The equivalent of living in Paris today. On the way to everywhere, great roads, easy access to the trains, great shopping. A one stop shop for Pillage, rape, and resupplying the troops,

It was carved up in 1925 by Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Turkey.

The Treaty of Sèvres after the Ottoman Empire fell made provisions for a new Kurdish country (The U.S. was NOT a signatory because we just wanted to be compensated for our WW1 costs and get out thinking peace would finally come. Oops! When we realized our mistake it was to late and tried, through the Greeks, to get a seat at the table. didn't go well)

In the 1970's the Kurds were offered their autonomy. a few times.

Every time the U.S. has asked them to fight with us they stood tall. How dare they expect self determination or any help from us getting it. It's not like they're real people or anything! They're just foreigners who don't even have a country of their own. The nerve of some people... it's just gimmie, gimmie, gimmie. If they were a part of NATO now....all those "allies" we defend, give money, technology and economic leverage to because they have our back no matter what...... oh, right, my bad.

really seems like Trump is working for Putin...our former allies in the fight against ISIS, the Kurds, said they are turning to Russia for help...

Russia's long term goal has been to weaken the western democratic alliance in Europe...this really helps Russia's foreign policy goals, close to their home

also opens a potential pathway for ISIS terrorists to sneak into Europe over land through Turkey...

I'm ambivalent about this...I think we've made many foreign policy mistakes in the past in that part of the world, and believe we'd be better off pulling all of our troops from the middle east...our presence and history of meddling in other nations sovereign affairs in that part of the world have led to resentment from people there...

but then, I don't think we should turn our backs on our allies and friends anywhere in the world...

pretty Rich of the cons to jump on this as if it is the only evidence of bombing going on after Trump decided to bail...

wonder if all the stories with reporters on the ground showing Kurds evacuating while people are running around with guns is also made up...

some GOP leaders (Graham, McConnell) seem to think this is real....a real blunder...

ABC News Busted for Using Knob Creek Footage in Report on Turkey’s Military Attacking Kurd Civilians

Quote:
Can you spell “fake news?” We can and ABC World News Tonight with David Muir earns today’s fake news award with extra cow-pie clusters for chutzpah. Last night, they broadcast footage from the Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot and claimed it as Turkey’s military bombing Kurd civilians in Syria.

you think that somehow makes it real news?

if I rape you and then apologize, does that somehow make it consensual?
