I don't believe most logical people would sabotage their career and risk their life being a traitor to their country by vowing to disrupt the actions of the president simply because they don't like it that Hillary lost... I'm guessing there's a handful of youngsters that might be dumb enough to pen an anonymous letter admitting to treason, but not many...

so the NY Times recently printed this (it looks pretty familiar from a while ago) and says the author is the whistleblower?

This just isn't lining up correctly.
Not to mention (so of course I will...) that the whistle guy has been at least partly identified as a CIA person formerly assigned to the White House who reported after being told of stuff by current official on the WH staff.
This writer claims to be a senior official on the job as chit is going down.

and it sounds like at least half the time efforts being described were by non-demented believers trying to prevent Trump from committing impeachable crimes.

I have to add that I recall thinking it's a phony letter when it first made the rounds, and that has not changed.
It's a fake.

It's all part of the deflection. Maybe if you focused on what the Prez did and is doing rather than all the made up reasons not to things would look different.


You presented that as why the whistle blower was a traitor and committed sabotage.

The whistle blower followed all of the rules (at least according to the IG, Grassley etc. If you really believe the nonsense you posted (which looks like it was prior to the Ukrain stuff but I don't know) and thus can stick your head in the sand then I feel for you.

If someone in the government is doing wrong lets take a look. The WB doesn't look like they did. But lets take a look and not ignore whats right in front of us as well.

We're actually in talks to merge with Jezebel... but they want points in the hank hides business and I'm just not sure we're willing to part with that kinda value prior to our ipo...

Sorry the letter lacked the Hollywood glitz and glamour that gets you wet... Sometimes when big kids talk they just get to the point instead of pretending their sh*t doesn't stink...

Maybe if you ask nice Obama will write a great sounding, entirely ineffective letter that uses big words he can't pronounce without a teleprompter spelling it out phonetically...

But it'll make good sound bites for the news... That's what you're after, right? That's the presidency to you, right? Sounding good, dressing nice, and licking Iran's taint...

If it simply didn't sound nice, and he backed it up, no one would have a problem.

"Mr Erdogan, do not enter Syria or we will retaliate.

sincerely, Trump"

would be perfectly acceptable, assuming he then followed up with retaliations when turkey entered syria.

but that's not what happened. The letter wasn't just lacking "glitz and glamour" It was both infantile and impotent. And that's been proven by the fact he didn't even follow up with his empty threats.

so after Trump said he had a great phone call with Erdogan and then the invasion began, it looked like he gave a green light... or got played...

he denied giving a green light, so he got played, unless he really told Erdogan the US was bailing on the Kurds and to go ahead with his plans to invade...

when that happened, it seemed like Trump was surprised when the invasion happened, so he ginned up this letter to push back against all the criticism he got for green lighting Erdogan...
