This group/forum will be used for all bets for the MLB baseball season 2019-20. All games qualify if they are wildcard, division, world series etc.

Wagers should be a minimum of 5 premium cigars, Maximum of 10 per game. No dog rockets allowed. Ship promptly.

Picks should be locked in at least 30 mins prior to game but try to post your picks up earlier than that, so others have time to participate.

Have fun 😛

Kombat,

Let's test this: I will take Nationals , starting tomorrow night; playing Astros. When you lose and send your end, I will let you know if they are premium. 🤣👍 5er per game.

Chazbo,

I also have called Nats earlier, so you need a taker for yours.

Sorry, Al. Already on the hook for the Astros overall, and feeling mildly more anxious about it than I did at the start. Though as Chaz pointed out, I am playing with house money, so I've got that going for me

no worries, SOB...just putting my wager out again so it doesn't get lost in the kerfuffle...lotsa fur flying here...

The MLB won’t allow a sweep so I think the Astros have this next one in the bag. I am not saying the Nationals will throw the game but I don’t think that they would go for the kill.

Delta,

I would have rather bet the entire series. But I will take that game, why not? Worse that could happen is I'm down 5 cigars. (I just won 67 cumulatively from betting on another group)...

Btw, I don't think they are overdue. They took 2017, which is recent.

Stinger,

For Astros to have a fair shot, they need to win the next two game to break even.

These are both good teams right now. Anyone could take it. It's getting exciting.

watching the starting pitchers for Washington makes me think how this was the Red Sox plan last Spring...Price, Sale, Rodriguez, Porcello.
Sure looked like a winning crew in March.

The Nationals are golden - better starting pitching than the astros and they don’t live or die by the home run. And, because they happily can play small ball, they lead the majors in runs scored with two outs.

this is definitely a must game for the Astros...only one team has ever come back from being down 0-3 games...and Nationals starting pitching is too good to lose 4 in a row...

Delta, good one! It wasn't as good as a whopping as Tuesday night, but the 'tros got their first in! If they keep it up for tomorrow, they're back in the game 😊...

Astro's back in control and Washington's luck running out ...….so I stand by my original prediction,Astro's in 6

Whistle, I guarantee you were starting to sweat before last night. I'm glad they pulled it off. Started to feel bad for them.

Delta, are you taking Astros again tonight?

If they win this one, we have an official series.

My wife was the one starting to sweat...….she's the Astro fan.I just support her team as she does mine, the Red Sox.Last couple years we both been pretty happy, hoping for more joy at the conclusion of this series.

CigarLady, I really don't want to see the Astros win, since they beat the Dodgers two years ago...I just had a feeling that if they were going to win a game, it would be that one...

but to give you a shot at getting even, I'll wager on one more game of this World Series, taking the Astros, while you have the Nats...you choose the game, as long as you pick before the first pitch...

it feels like a must win game for the Nats, today...last game at home, before the final two games in Houston...has there ever been a World Series where the home team has lost every game?

Not sure. It is kind of weird because Nats lost both at home and Houston lost both at home .. weird.

No patterns. Just roll the momentum through a win in game 6 and call it done

I keep up with action on big games, mind you this really means nothing but it tells you where the $$$ is going in the sports book world. Also quite telling where they think the momentum lies.Looks like my original prognostication of Astro's in 6 may just come true

Odds on the World Series winner as of 5:00 pm central time today

Houston -900
Washington +575

Almost makes me want throw down a couple C-notes on Washington, obviously a true long shot bet but the $1150 return is appealing.Anybody throwing a bet down on Houston that expects to win anything has way more money than I do
