Last week Thursday our shop’s admin e-mailed me and said a couple of boxes had come in for me. Huh? Didn’t order anything from here, the wild place or any other online retailer. So I asked “Who are they from?” and she said “Marcus ____ and Vince ____”. Wat da!?!? Went in the next morning and picked them up.

I posted up what Mjrburn sent in the PIB/Non-Elitist topic so, in lieu of a picture (...’cause I totally suck at reducing the pixel size and uploading...), here is what USNGunner / Vince RAOK’d me with (...one each unless noted...):

2x AF Queen B - I carelessly mentioned that I needed to pick more up so Vince sent these two to help me out
AF Hemingway Best Seller Natural - my favorite vitola in the Hemingway line (...I’ve posted that sentiment before so talk about low hanging fruit!...)
AF 8-5-8 Maduro - another one of my favorites
Stolen Throne Crook of the Crown Robusto - a nh but looking forward to sparking it up

And, apparently, since his local PO only had a LFR available, Vince had to use local “packing material” to help keep the cigars ultra protected:

Big bag of Sterzing’s Potato Chips (“Always Fresh and Crisp”) - deeelicious! Munching on some right now Drool
1 bottle of Boetje’s Bourbon Barrel Aged Brown Mustard
1 bottle of Boetje’s Dutch Stone Ground Mustard
1 bottle of Harry Bees & Boetje’s Honey Mustard

Gonna be tough to decide which mustard to open up first. Of course the simple solution is to just open all of them at the same time.

Last but not least, a nice note and a very cool custom made coin to commemorate Vince’s retirement from the Navy.

Thanks again Gunr!

Edit: Oops, missed an item - Iowa Smokehouse Original Beef Sticks - over half are already gone. Fo’ sure they won’t make it to Friday.

I'm glad it made it safely and hope you enjoy it.

And for the public record, Palama sent a pretty massive hit of smokes and goodies for my SBU reunion weekend that was greatly appreciated by me and my buddies as well.

So, a simple thank you was the order of the day. And, since you were low on the Queen B's anyway. BigGrin

Take the pic, email it to me and I'll resize it, (takes me about 15 seconds), and I'll send it back for you to post.

Oh yeah . . . Nice job, Gunner !

Thanks John. I’ll do that next time. We’ve already broken into the chips and beef sticks and I’ve put the cigars away. One went here, two went there, another one joined the Cameroon / Connecticut humidor and the last one got buried in a time capsule for excavation in 3 years.

Glad you're enjoying it too! Yeah, that Boetjes is good stuff. Let me know when you get low Frank, I'd be happy to send some more out when you need it. Beer
