Did the US Intelligence community and the military tell Trump way before hand, or just a few minutes before the launch...I'm sure they needed his authorization to proceed, didn't they?

did Trump tell the Russians before the mission or after?

he is known to share confidential and classified intel with our enemies, in the Oval Office while chumming up to the Russkies, front of Russian photographers.... of all things




but this is a significant accomplishment, taking a top leader of the Radical Islamist Terrorist network out of action...on par with the Osama Bin Laden mission...both done without suffering US casualties

Some folks need to go look up "intellectual honesty". I could give a fark about politics when our guys are in harms way. But one side has a history of letting them dangle. Going all the way back to Carter. One doesn't.

I think where we differ is I don’t find liberals any different than “conservatives” in this regard. Since I consider myself a republican I expect more from my side than theirs but I’m not getting it. Trump is worse than anything I’ve seen on their side yet my party supports him still. I’m just hopeful his house of cards crashes.

blanket statements about entire members of a political belief are inaccurate from the start, just like saying all Blacks are...or all French are...so the rest of the charges and complaints are white noise.

Certainly there are (many fine? HA!) people on all sides of the political spectrum exhibiting hypocrisy and blindness to the same sins of their side that they condemn in others, and the violators should be called out individually whether on a national level or in one's social group.

But enough of these counterproductive blanket accusations. What a turn off.

you forget that the GOP controlled the Congress for most of Obama's term, and the GOP did all it could to stymie his presidency, yet he still briefed the key Congressional leaders about the strike... nobody leaked....that's leadership, by both Obama and the Congress....we must remember that at the end of the day, we are ALL Americans...

Benghazi was not an isolated occurrence...American soldiers have been put in harms way and have died under every POTUS' watch...it's the by-product of our foreign policy since WWII, which is to project US strength and leadership with our military and industry all over the world, in effort to keep the peace...

have you forgotten all the attacks and killings of American troops sleeping in their bases under GOP President Ronald Reagan, or the thousands of Americans who were sent to fight an unnecessary war and killed while GWB was in charge...

don't let a misguided, divisive and truth averse GOP POTUS and his propaganda machine trick you and change your views about who are the actual enemies of the American people...

although I disagree with many of the views expressed by the cons here, I would gladly fight alongside all the ones I've met in defense of OUR country...America, and each American citizen, is much greater than political party affiliation...

You make my point again in paragragh 1.They may have fought Obama tooth and nail on many issues but there were no leaks like we've seen recently that can only be coming from one place.Obama had no reason to NOT inform them.

Paragragh 2.Sorry Al but name me one other occurrence where help was literally on the plane ready to come in hot and save Glen Doherty,Tyrone Woods,Sean Smith and Chris Stevens...…..Those names I will never forget because they were sacrificed.Obama and Hillary should have been held accountable for their blood.

Paragragh 3.I served under Jimmy Carter,Ronald Reagan and George Bush.Carter schit on us repeatedly and often.I never felt like the elements to pull off a successful mission were not in place under Reagan and Bush.That conclusion is from countless cold war missions in the North and Western Pacific,drug interdiction missions in Central America and of course the Gulf Wars.

Paragragh 5.Once you put that uniform on,just as there are no athiest in foxholes,there are no Dems or Cons...……...Only Brothers you are willing to sacrifice your life for.

After 20 years with all the different administrations you start to see patterns.

Ron's right about the personal outlook too. Never trust a democrat leadership. You have to follow orders, but take extra care on your extraction plans. The conservatives may be crooked too, but they're not going to leave you hanging somewhere. It helps do the job knowing that if it goes south, somebodies coming to get you. Might take awhile, but they're coming. And not coming but "stood down" the way the previous "leadership" reacted. They need prosecuted for those murders.

"It was because of a movie this guy made, we're going to prosecute him!" That is what they put out at the funerals? (It was by the way) Not even my grandson would believe that nonsense. The left did. And the news trumpeted it for weeks. I was so freaking disgusted it wasn't funny.

That wasn't the first time for that administration. The story goes that there were some guys trapped on a mountain top in NK, recon gone bad. Luckily it was a mixed unit. The US (Obama/Hillary) administration said no to a rescue flight. The ROK's weren't going to leave their folks and said "screw you" so the extract went anyway from the ROK side. They got them all out.

That is freaking pitiful when you ask someone to go do something, it breaks bad and you write them off over political concerns.
