Yes and yes.

A cigar on the line on Bama -4. Looked like a good line as I saw it at -6.

It's like getting a $1.000 prostitute for $100. A good deal until the Herpes kicks in.

Boy and I always get some sort of garbage food at the end of a "dad day"

I wanted to go to Portillos, but he wanted Dominoes so I gorged myself on greaseball pizza.

Gonna regret it tomorrow. Always do.

Enjoying the whole day and night workin and chillin in da woods.
Finally, a seasonally typical late autumn day here.

Ain’t gonna last. The chill comes back in in another day.
You would think that there would be some advantage to global warming...

went to Pho 89 tonight.
Shoulda gone to the Viet place we usually go to but someone else picked the restaurant tonight.

I ordered an extra extra dry vodka martini (kangaroo) to start...got a dirty martini. Waitress (who made the drink) said she assumed I meant extra vermouth. I explained why that was wrong, and pointed out that she didn't do that anyway, she poured the liquid from the jar of olives when I didn't even ask for olives...she giggled. We loved her. She made the next one perfectly and it was huge...as was her tip.

still good but not as good as we are used to having. Though ya always get great flavors for short money at Vietnamese restaurants.

Could have been worse. You could have only gotten a 15-18% of a knobber.

Give me back my broken night
My mirrored room, my secret life
It's lonely here,
There's no one left to torture
Give me absolute control
Over every living soul
And lie beside me, baby
That's an order

Give me crack and anal sex
Take the only tree that's left
And stuff it up the hole
In your culture
Give me back the Berlin wall
Give me Stalin and St. Paul
I've seen the future, brother
It is murder

Things are going to slide, slide in all directions
Won't be nothing
Nothing you can measure anymore
The blizzard, the blizzard of the world
Has crossed the threshold
And it has overturned
The order of the soul
When they said (they said) repent (repent), repent (repent)
I wonder what they meant
When they said (they said) repent (repent), repent (repent)
I wonder what they meant
When they said (they said) repent (repent), repent (repent)
I wonder what they meant

You don't know me from the wind
You never will, you never did
I'm the little Jew
Who wrote the Bible
I've seen the nations rise and fall
I've heard their stories, heard them all
But love's the only engine of survival
Your servant here, he has been told
To say it clear, to say it cold
It's over, it ain't going
Any further
And now the wheels of heaven stop
You feel the devil's riding crop
Get ready for the future
It is murder

Things are going to slide
Slide in all directions
Won't be nothing
Nothing you can measure anymore
The blizzard, the blizzard of the world
Has crossed the threshold
And it has overturned
The order of the soul
When they said (they said) repent (repent), repent (repent)
I wonder what they meant
When they said (they said) repent (repent), repent (repent)
I wonder what they meant
When they said (they said) repent (repent), repent (repent)
I wonder what they meant

There'll be the breaking of the ancient
Western code
Your private life will suddenly explode
There'll be phantoms
There'll be fires on the road
And the white man dancing
You'll see a woman
Hanging upside down
Her features covered by her fallen gown
And all the lousy little poets
Coming round
Tryin' to sound like Charlie Manson
And the white man dancin'

Give me back the Berlin wall
Give me Stalin and St. Paul
Give me Christ or give me Hiroshima
Destroy another fetus now
We don't like children anyhow
I've seen the future, baby
it is murder

Things are going to slide, slide in all directions
Won't be nothing
Nothing you can measure anymore
The blizzard, the blizzard of the world
Has crossed the threshold
And it has overturned
The order of the soul
When they said (they said) repent (repent), repent (repent)
I wonder what they meant
When they said (they said) repent (repent), repent (repent)
I wonder what they meant
When they said (they said) repent (repent), repent (repent)
I wonder what they meant

Just got done with a 3 hour leaf cleanup.

Mow most of them down where they lay. Leaf blower to clear obstacles then drive around on the lawnmower to chop em up.

Used to clean em all up and burn em but it's more work than it's worth. This way I can get it done in 3-4 hours instead of all damn day.

Last time I burned em I couldn't get the fire going hot enough. Had kerosene and used motor oil on the pile but it was just too wet.

I could see the smoke from Rt 30, about 2 miles north of my house.
