Usually happens between day 3 and day 5.

We typically start a stool softener pretty early on. Day 1 or 2.

Day 3 if nothing's come out but the farts are rolling we add in some mild laxatives like milk of magnesia. If no toots, might have an issue.

Day 4 if it's all hot air, you'll get a suppository and dulcolax orally on top of milk of magnesia every 6 hours and push for extra walking distance.

Day 5 well bust out the big guns. Mag citrate and or go-lytely. Nothing "lyte" about either of those. You're gonna gamble on a fart and lose.
