So about a month ago, had a demented 80 something year old guy post open heart and for the most part things were fine. Except for the whole dementia part. Dude didn't even know who he was.

He was quiet for a few hours and then suddenly the monitor alarms that his heartrate is 150 and he's breathing 50x/min. Go running into his room, he's whacking it watching an infomercial at 3am.

I can see clearly now the rain is gone
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It's gonna be a bright (bright)
Bright (bright) sunshiny day
It's gonna be a bright (bright)
Bright (bright) sunshiny day

Oh, yes I can make it now the pain is gone
All of the bad feelings have disappeared
Here is that rainbow I've been praying for
It's gonna be a bright (bright)
Bright (bright) sunshiny day

ThumpUp

Just walked a lap without a walker. No way I’m buying one of those. It’s time to grind. On my way back up.

Have I mentioned this has been hard?

I have a walker that I keep for the days when my back goes out. Thought I might need it this morning, but the pain jabs subsided. They look better with flames on the sides and red golf balls.

When I had my knee replaced, I didn't poop for about 5 days, and when I finally did, after much effort, I managed to shoot out a couple of BBs, and then no further output for about 3 days....and then we were back in business.
You'll get there, and just think of the stories you'll be able to tell...Applause

Maybe you should take a picture and send it to Hustler's Turd of the Month contest. See if you can win this time without cheating.

Still in hospital but showered and in home pajamas. Not my normal boxers but pajama pants from Costco and a huk fishing shirt. I’m almost human again. No more tubes, exterior stitches etc.

The m too exhausted to be excited.
