I doubt any legitimate cc vendor could sell Diplomaticos for that price ($4.50/cigar). Beware

No no it's a house brand from another shpo.

Description:

Cuban Diplomat by Cubanacan Toro (6x52 / Box 20)

The Cuban Diplomat by Cubanacan is a cigar that took several years of painstaking development. 3 years aged, top grade Nicaraguan tobaccos from Esteli and Jalapa were chosen for the filler core. A 5 year old Ecuadorian Habano binder was chosen to keep these core filler tobaccos together and balance the flavor. Finally, a naturally-cured Ecuadorian Habano Maduro wrapper is skillfully laid on top to complete the blend. This beautiful, oily looking cigar grabs your attention from the first glance.

Tasting notes are rich and diverse. Flavors include earth, nutmeg, cedar, and pepper with lovely undertones of coffee, caramel, and the slightest hints of cocoa. Construction is superb and flavors are very well balanced. All in all, the Cuban Diplomat is a tremendous full favored cigar that brings hope to a bright future in US-Cuba relations.

Maybe its just me, but if it ain't from Cuba, with cuban-grown tobacco leaves, it is not a Cuban Diplomat. YMMV
