Ran outta kerosene. Had to make a run to the only gas station in the area that has a kerosene pump. Killed an hour of my morning.

But now the garage is warm and I'm smoking an anejo 55. Roofers banging away on the house. No chance of sleeping.

Night shift? When I used to work nights I’d put the TV on the Classic Rock station just loud enough to drown out any sounds. My dobie would get in the bed and snuggle up next me and I’d sleep like a baby. Now Titan’s 13-14 years old (he’s a rescue). Worried about how much time we have left together. When he’s not outside he sleeping on the sofa. When he was younger he was active all day.

45/59 with tule fog... Both kids home from school still...

Building a temporary greenhouse today for my greens... Lettuce got decimated by the finches so I'm having to start everything inside then transfer to the greenhouse...

Think I can grow 200 heads this winter... Wife is skeptical...

I usually put earplugs in and then top it with headphones and queue up some music or podcast. Yesterday nothing worked. If the noise wasn't enough, the bed/house shaking did it.

Roofers finished though. Job was 12 hours onsite total.

Wrote a huge check and now off to bed.

Now just need a sunny day over 40 degrees to cure the adhesive... should get one this week. Forecast is looking favorable

Pops had his knee replaced today. All went well, talked to him on the phone tonight, He's already talking about a new CCW piece. LOL, must be going to do a run on Mom's sympathy card. Dude doesn't miss a trick. LOL

Huge sigh of relief there though. Going to pour a couple of fingers of bourbon when I get home and torch one up.

When in Cali last March, you gave me 50-1 odds that Kamala Harris would never become president. Never is a long time, but you've won.... for now.
