I think walgreens was rocking the buy one get one half off recently... you gotta look out though, the box color changed this year... it's a darker red, almost purplish... they'll still sell the boxes from last year tough cuz they technically last for 2 seasons...

Pancakes with Huckleberries?

The small, round berries resemble blueberries. In fact, in some parts of the United States, huckleberries might be called blueberries and blueberries might be called huckleberries. They're not the same fruit, though. ... Red huckleberries tend to have a tart flavor, while purple and blue huckleberries taste sweeter.

Sounds an awful lot like blueberries. Red blueberries are firm and tart, purple and blue ones soft n sweet.

There's a place up in Fresno called huckleberry's... They're southernish compared to most breakfast places here... I had huckleberry jam on something and huckleberry syrup and a huckleberry muffin... I remember thinking they were better than blueberries but not significantly different...

I only ate there one time, when my son was born and ended up in nicu... We were a wreck and the waitress came over and prayed with us... Fond memory...

Well I'll be. Thank you for the education. You've made me smarter.

Then again, the bar was low enough a few morbidly obese grasshoppers to get over while jumping against the wind.

Spending another evening in an ER bed. They’ve run beaucoup tests, but still don’t know why I’m freezing and sweating bullets at the same time.

That came back negative. At the moment they don’t have a clue. Waiting on an ambulance to transfer me to the main hospital about 15 miles away.

Hope they find a cause Anth. That doesn't sound like fun.

At least you're going inpatient, should get more exhaustive testing. Hopefully some answers in a few days.

Not sure about the inpatient part, but we will see.

Sent me from one hospital to another in a mini-van with no medical equipment in the passenger section. Sugar was 75 when we left. Within 5 minutes I was sweating bullets and shaking real bad. Took about 20 minutes to get here. Wife met at the triage. She had the coke the EMT forgot. And least I had a turkey sandwich on the way. I drank it down in about 2 long gulps. A couple minutes later my sugar was at 117.

Now I’m sitting on the hall in a bed covered with 2 blankets, freezing my ass off, sweating bullets while smelling like a herd of Rams in heat.

Just talked to the internal medicine Dr. He is going to admit me to run some tests to rule out a virus or infection. But, he’s pretty certain it’s an Rx issue.
