I just ran across these on some other site. 6x52 torpedo. Crojo wrapper, Ecuadorian binder and DR filler, in a glass tube. I may have to pickup a 3 pack for election night 2020.

what are they selling for?

given his popularity, they will become collector's items, so grab a bunch...

If it's anything like the other merch his campaign has put out, I'm gonna assume it's made in china.

But delta's right... it'll probably become a collectors item. Because we live in the dumbest timeline.

If it's more than $6.00 / 3 pack, I doubt Mr Newell will buy them . . . BUT, knowing HIM, he'll find a way to get them below that.

There were two 2016 cigars that I know of.

One made by Ted's cigars that came in a glass tube...which was not bad at all.

The other made for Gurkha which was very good.

By the way, neither "made in China".

And what exactly is the point Victor? To go into a cigar discussion post about cigars and spew your vitriol because it is attached to Trumps name? Therefore inferior in your mind like Chinese products?
Give up your chinese made products, or stfu, but your bias and animosity is becoming tiring and old

"Inferior in my mind like Chinese products"?
Reading comprehension is not your strong suit.

It's well known that most items sold by the trump2020 campaign are made in china. This is a trump2020 product. Therefore it is an amusing poke to suggest that, like the other trump2020 products, is made in china.

The hilarious part is that in general, I have no problem with chinese products (not cigars). You assume I do. I never said I had a problem with chinese products. Trump is the one who has a problem with chinese manufacturing. If you want to jump on someone for giving up chinese made products, go talk to twitler.

This. I avoid the political forum because of his nonsensical BS. Now he's trolling in the regular forums. I set the troll to ignore and I'm just done with it. Him and Chaos. Birds of a feather. Brick wall

Only the weak use the "ignore" feature.

And this thread was political from the start. Posting that he's going to pick up Trump2020 cigars to smoke at election night. He knew what sort of response he was going to get. One could make the argument that it was a pretty tame, non confrontational thread with some simple joking until nitro and you got here.

My reading comprehension is just fine. That is what necessitated the post in a cigar forum, about cigars that are attached to the President, requiring you to make your usual crap answer.
We get it. You do not like the President. Either keep it out of the cigar discussion or stfu. Pretty simple actually

Okay. Yeah cool story

We get it. Your liberal, (ex) California self cannot fathom someone having a discussion about cigars that does necessitate your bias. Clearly stating: Because we live in the dumbest timeline.Totally tame until someone tells you that a discussion about cigars does not require you to add your filth. Easy as discuss the cigar or STFU

Would you rather I had said "Wrong forum noob"? Because let's face it, when the OP is stating they're going to be smoking Trump2020 cigars on election night, they started a thread with a political bias. Just because you don't look at that as political bias, but rather look at my disappointment ("we live in the dumbest timeline") of the original statement as bias isn't really my problem. That's more a you problem.

Instead you want to pretend this thread didn't start as political. Because you're blind to anything other than "those evil libs".

I'll be nice. I'll try to talk this through with you in a way that shouldn't be as polarizing. We'll look at it as sports.

If DP had posted "I've got my victory cigars ready to smoke for when the Red Sox win the Superbowl this year!" it would not be illogical for someone to post a response bashing the Red Sox. I mean, maybe they're a Lakers fan and think it's a travesty that the Red Sox flop constantly on the field to try to get fouls called. So they're going to say something like "The red sox may win the superbowl, but that's just because everything is crap this year". The OP brought that comment on. They started the conversation.

The only political thing written is by you. You make it political because you assume it.

Ummmm
" I may have to pickup a 3 pack for election night 2020"

You don't smoke a Trump 2020 cigar on election night unless you are suggesting you believe trump will win.
Now, I don't think that's a very controversial statement. But it is a political statement.

If he says he believes trump will win in 2020, I would think I would be allowed to comment on trump winning in 2020

As much as I hate to admit it, I have to give Vicky his just due on this one. (Well, on the highlighted section, at least.)
When I got to THAT part of the post, I had both barrels locked and loaded, ready to blast him for his lack of knowledge about sports, but by the time I finished, I realized that he wrote it completely TIC.

Except, Victor, I did not say "I've got my victory cigars ready to smoke for when Trump wins re-election next year." That may be what you read, but it's not what I said. What I said was "I may have to pick up some for election night", which was meant as a tongue in cheek statement. This is the main reason I now try to avoid the political board.

Don't play cute dp... It's not becoming.
The whole thread started political. You're talking about buying cigars branded with a political party's campaign, to smoke on election night.

I don't even care... But that opens the post up to statements about said politician. Don't get me wrong, you didn't complain about my comments (which were also pretty tongue in cheek until nitro started acting like a snowflake...)

knowing your cigar reconnaissance skills, I have no doubt you'll find some for half that...then, the question becomes: do I want to over-pay?

I was not kidding when I thought that they may become collector's items, "worth" more than current retail after Trump leaves office...his years as POTUS have been/will be historic and his supporters are fiercely loyal, so there will be a market for the cigars among his many followers...

I am amused by some of the replies here. Instead of going all political let's just remember these cigars are hardly political. They're a gimmick to make a quick buck. There were Bernie and Hillary cigars as well. Based on the reviews of the liquor based cigars I question if any of them are even good.

And if someone started talking about bernie or hillary cigars and smoking them on election night, I would argue that anyone would be appropriate in commenting on the quality of candidate bernie or hillary was, or whether they thought they would win, or whether the cigars came from an intern's vag...

the cigars themselves are political. They...intentionally.... have... a .... politician's... campaign .... as... a.... name.
Taken a step further, saying you would smoke them on the most political night....

But again... the only person who threw a fit was nitro. I don't blame DP for posting this, I think it's an amusing conversation. DP is a big boy, he can manage having people poke fun at chinese trump 2020 cigars.

I honestly walked into this thread hoping to hear opinions on the cigars themselves rather than what is on their band. There are some mixed opinions about all the cigars on the site that is selling these. I still see them as a gimmick more than political. They are selling gimmicky Maker's Mark cigars and what not when there is no money in politics.

I think a couple people posted that they weren't bad...
I do not know what the quality would be, I'm going to expect that it will be lower quality than the pricing would otherwise indicate, because they're branding them and paying someone royalties.

I mean, if they took generic $5 cigars and slapped a promotional label on them, they're planning on selling them for more than the $5 they would be worth without it.

So because someone states they are going to buy cigars put out by a candidate it makes the post political? Following that logic he would need post in politics if he were offering them for trade?

Yep, that’s certainly deserving of the dumbest timeline.
