Who knew there was such a thing? madspackler (Eric), that's who.

I was totally caught by surprise yesterday when a flat parcel landed on my front stoop. I wasn't expecting anything, haven't ordered anything that has yet to show up, and almost never see Fed Ex.

Inside was the most delicious Danish Kringle (totally new to me!) in the world. This big oval flew to my door from O H Danish Bakery in Racine, WI, and the only info on the card was "Happy Chanukah from Your Cbid Secret Santa. Enjoy"

Scotland Yard said they could not help identify the perp, so I went to the maps. Contacted the person I thought may have driven the bus who lives in that area of the world, but he said he was not asked for my coordinates. Reached out to a few others, and finally called the amazingly nice folks at the bakery.

I was given a name, but the surname was not one I knew from here...and despite my best attempts at conning the young lady (who thought this whole story was wonderful) into telling me what state the order originated from, all I could get her to give as a hint was "somewhere in the south".

Two hours later I accused madspackler of the deed. We have no history to speak of here, he's like a Founding Father and I'm a 12+ year repeat offender, but a few PM's later we both discovered previously unspoken mutual admiration and respect. I found out my impressions of this true gentleman were accurate, he is the real deal, as solid a person in reality as we see on these forums.

I let Eric know how the timing of his gesture increased the joy it gave me, and I also told him this would not stop me from publicly ripping him a new azzhole today!

So now that you know what he is capable of, watch your back(s). Like they say at the Post Office..."he was always so quiet"...HA!

Eric, such a kind gesture. Greatly appreciated.
And I am taking your threat of future violence seriously!

Shalom, and Happy Chanukah...starts at sundown on Sunday!

I just figured Frank needed to receive some of the Santa goodness this year. Just because you elect not to participate does not mean you are safe.
It’s a good thing Chanukah is a multi-day holiday. This is a cigar board after all. Just sayin’. To borrow a phrase from another NY’er “it ain’t over till it’s over”.
Tick tick.

If I had thought of this the next package would contain a triple orificed blow up doll, super lubed vagina, oscillating anal cavity and an oral piggy bank...…...for a quarter inserted behind the ear her lips fold back and the lips start quivering.

Man, this thread started out so cheerful and heartwarming and took a hard left. Maybe even a 180. Well deserved frank and nicely done spackler

Now, Frankie. I'm going to need an addy. No, no! Not in any way to play a part in the bombing Z mentioned. Absolutely not. Nosiree!

Tick, Tick, Tick, Tick......

Elvis has left the building......actually left last week. I have heard that tinkering with the mail is a Federal offense.

Once a plan is put in motion it can be impossible to stop....

The difference between an threat and a plan is that threats don't always come to fruition. A plan gets executed.

Merry Chanukah and Happy Christmas Frank - just showing the Cbid Love. Please enjoy.

Just like it is stated in the Sleigh Ride Christmas Carol-------I'm Laughing all the way!

OK. So, Frank's not hurting for smokes. But the kringle was good.

Frank's low on goodies!

aaaand we aren't done here...

just got home from an afternoon at the movies with our granddaughter (saw Frozen 2) and yet another parcel is on the stoop.
Madspackler yet again.

I'm learning so much about WI and IL geography, today's lesson comes from Mrs. Prindables of Niles, IL
Probably the largest apple in captivity, I'm talking like softball size, or if your from MA, RI, or smaht parts of ME it's the size of a candlepin bowling ball...maybe even duck pin!

The modest description says it is a "milk chocolate walnut pecan caramel apple". Don't believe me about the size? Label says "6 servings per container". Easy to believe.

Oh, and to make sure it's Chanukah appropriate, it came with a Star of David inside! How great is that?

Eric, you are one amazing, detail oriented MO FO!

Thank you yet again. This will be consumed by a small gathering after we light the third candle tomorrow evening, probably with an Arizona rose chaser from DED.
You FOGS are unbelievable.

OK, show's over. Go home.

so...WOW.

the handwritten card claims 8 cigars in the box (one for each night of Chanukah) plus a small sampler.
And there was a box, but it was a box of 10 Ave Maria Morningstar (perfectos)...and yes, I did share a laugh with you 'spackler over the irony of the box.
Now I have yet another wizearse Catholic friend in my collection, but this one doesn't have a Boston accent!

Oh, and as long as he was shipping, he tossed in a fiver to ride shotgun,,,
Macanudo Vintage 1997 maddie robusto
Nat Sherman Metropolitan Habano toro
Oliva V corona (dated 3/16. should be mellow enough for me by now!)
H. Upmann (cc) Coronas Minor AT..looove these
Padron 1964 Anny Exclusivo natural

so...WOW!

Gonna take me quite a while to wash off all the spackle I got all over me. This was truly out of the blue and very humbling...I can't even come up with a smaht azz thing to say right now.

Eric, you crazy transplanted Yankee, thank you so much. You have no idea how wonderful this experience has been for me.

Thank you, my friend.
Shalom
